The more I use this tool the more I love it.

I've been using CMDR's Log prior to this, which is also an excellent tool especially when EliteOCR got integrated.

However this tool is more immersive and has more automated features which makes it a pleasure to use, barring some bugs.

With CMDR's Log in mind, is there a way to upload my data from there? The data is stored in the EliteOCR folders as exported .csv files from EliteOCR.

If it's not possible no matter, I'll manage using both tools until I've got my data back up to date in TCE.

Thanks - I will give that a go this evening. I hadn't realised there was a zoom feature.

Sorry 'systems' is actually an option in one of the menu's isn't it, rather than a menu itself. Basically, anything I click on that brings up a bos on the right side, the box only partially shows.

Please tell me, what error message you got and which codeline was highlighted. If you refer to another post, please make a link to it. Thanks.

The Trade Scout panel will undergo an overhaul, so a radius option will be included, when finished.

Hotfix (V1.36a) released:
- Bugfix in Station Database panel not showing the correct unregistered station present at the star system.

just curious: in the 1.36 full you included 2 db's, but the one with 2 stations only is actually bigger in file size than the other? how comes?

Am I using this tool incorrectly?
Wherever I go in the Galaxy I am collecting station/trade info. This means that I get info from all sizes of stations. Now when I trade , I always use the biggest ship I have. Which requires large landing pads. When I was using "Trade Scout" last night , it was suggesting trade routes to and from places that require a medium to small ship size.

(Question ) Is there a way to exclude data from Outposts when "trade scout" makes a search for the best trade route available?

Over time , this could become a big problem for someone who starts out trading with a small/medium ship and then moves to a large ship.:(

As it works now, trade scout shows you the best route between 2 stations . lets call them "B" and "C". You are currently in "A". When you lock in the route the "Trade" window shows you "A" and "B" (but no info on "C" station) . Both "A" and "B" are large stations ...great. You schlep over to "B" from "A" and then the "Trade" window will display the "C" station. If it's an outpost your pooched. Looking ahead of time at "C" station (with the Galaxy Map) can take a long time when your list from trade scout gets long.

I've missed a few days.

I have 1.36beta9 right not.

Can I just extract V1.36a_Update over it or do I actually nee v1.36 full first ?

Its an Access problem, not reducing the size, if you reduce the content. On the other side, if you fill it with data, it will not be bigger, till all the space is used again, as i know.

Not now, but it will come with the overhaul of the Trade Scout. There will be some filter options, like search radi, distance between stations, distance to star, padsize, jurisdiction, profit per good and trip.

If you have V1.36 beta1 installed, you can move directly to V1.36a update.

the way this kept growing in the past few weeks is amazing.

Does v1.36 non-beta 'upgrade' from the last full version, ie retain the data on the stations etc you've already entered - or is it still start from scratch like the betas?

You can copy your old beta database over the V1.36 non-beta, they are identical.

I received a fine of 400 credits, then logged off.

Next day I played again and became wanted because I had forgotten to pay the fine.:eek:

So out of the station, got shot at by the security police, a rushed turn around to go back and pay the fine.....

Far too rushed and splattered my ship all over the outside of the station.

The only upside was that the fine was wiped when I restarted.:cool:

You can import your old data into the new V1.36 database. Button is at the Options panel. Make a backup of your old data prior import in case of problems.

And I know for a fact that I did not press enter at anytime.

I did have to click the note box to get the save button to appear.
But I didn't write anything in it.
Neither did I touch the STATE OF EXPLORATION

Tried to re-open TCE after the crash and received error 1004 :

If it crashes, please check, if it is running in the back via taskmgr. Kill it before restart. Please observe this behavior. Did you imported old data?

I did not import old data, started a new database when you came out with 1.36beta.

I did check after the crash and I had no excel process running (or i missed it) when I started it the second time and got error 1004.
Checked again, killed the process that was there after 1004 and then started it fine.

I am now receiving a new one when trying to change the EXPLORED status to complete in CARTOGRAPHY

Got back in TCE and checked the EXPLORED status.
it was successfully changed to COMPLETE despite the crash !
