Can you imagine TCE running fullscreen on all three screens 'inside' the cockpit? (image showing Falcon 4 BMS instruments, but soon TCE :D)

Nice, nice, but TCE doesnt update all panels all the time. Actual TCE pauses detection of your position with most panels open to reduce processing load and making work with the panel flawless.
The following panels could stay open, without pausing the detection:
- Star System Summary panel
- Personal Logbook panel
- Options panel

So with all other you have to close / open them to update the panel. Only for your information.

Here comes the last preview of the Personal Logbook: the Contacts and Cartography area.

With the Contacts area you can add the important contacts, you meet. These are seperated in four categories (Friends, Neutrals, Enemies and Pirates). You can add the name, ship, combat rank and a note of the contact.

The new Cartography area is an update of the old and shows you the surrounding star systems of you position. New is the selectable star class, for scooping fuel informations, the number of stations within the star system, your database holds and a new star system note icon, which appears, if you entered informations about the star system. This note can be viewed, edited and saved after selecting the entry of a star system.
Also, the Personal Logbook panel can stay open, without pausing the 'detection in space' routine.

The closed beta phase is complete and i want to thank Bragolatch, punkerich and bAbbud at this point for their helping here.
The release of the Personal Logbook Addon for TCE will be tomorrow.

As always, feel free to discuss or add a suggestion.

:DIs it Ok to use these in ED? If i should happen to stream while i use it, im sure i will get reports of people saying im hacking bla bla bla... Im not saying you did this with bad intentions or anything. I would think if frontieri wanted us to have something like this they would have added something for us to use. I do think its badly needed though. Makes no sense we can warp all over the place but dont have the tech for a market computer lol. :D

TCE only uses publicly published data that ED have writen to your local log so this is perfectly fine to use. Also the mods are on the ball here and would have highlighted an issue if there were any concerns.

I do agree with your last point in so far as ED need to take Eventure's brilliant idea and implement something similar within the game itself, giving credit to Eventure when they do as TCE really does take the game to a new level.

Ok thanks... and yes, he did and awesome job. Too bad i dont have excel lol... never had a use for it. Seems thats about to change :) I love the game, but kinda seems rushed with some features missing like this one for example.

Full-Version (V1.40 Beta 1) released:

Changelog:
- New Installer creating shortcuts for TCE and TCE_setup. Activate 'Run as Administrator' option at the properties tab of both shortcuts.
- New Panel.mdb file, please note down your old values to enter them into the new one.
- Full conversion to game time / UTC. Your database will be mofidied on first start.
- Options panel: Added status display for position detection in space routine.
- Options panel: Added possibility to change the update interval and to reinitialize the process, if there is a problem with it.
- Options panel: Added new checkbox to disable automatic screen capture of TCE.

Important Note:
What can i use from a previous version of TCE?
You can use your TCE.mdb file and the TCE.ini file. All others are not compatible with the new version and therefore it is no update present for an older version. As always, please make a backup before, because your database will be modified in some ways.

Your request is a little special, so i think, we can help each other to make it run. I offer you the following:
- Make a network drive, thats pointing to the screenshot folder of ED of your other computer.
- Make a batch file, to move the screencap, made through ED, out of the network drive into your TCE OCR_BMP folder and rename it to screenshot.bmp.
- I will add a switch to disable the screencap function of TCE in the next release.

It is the fastest way atm to make this possible. How about it?

I am testing the v1.40 beta 1, but having problems. I have copied OCR v0.6.0.10 files into /EliteOCR root directory. The EliteOCR screenshot directory path (in preferences) is pointing at /OCR_BMP and a screenshot.bmp is present here. I checked the 'disable screen capture'. When I click 'Commodity' and 'Reset all prices before scan' and try to click 'Start OCR scan' nothing happens, and I mean nothing. Top right help text says 'Processing paused'... no error messages, just seems like...EliteOCR is not even trying to start or something when clicking 'Start OCR Scan'. What should be happening at this point?

Found the issue, TCE normally activates the ED window, but no ED = no scan. Will be fixed in next update. Release today.

Wow, that was fast - thanks a lot man, keep up the good work ;) You have created a fantastic tool. TCE makes Elite so much more complete. Looking forward to 'Trade Exploring' with TCE.

Update (V1.40 Beta 2) released:





Changelog:
- Fixed issue in Select Destination panel giving Search Route To function the wrong star system.
- Fixed issue in Trade panel not giving the clipboard the star system name when selecting a destination.
- Fixed No Screencap option
- Fixed error, when selecting a bookmark and deleting it afterwards

@All!

Found a database issue, please edit the TCE.mdb database > Stations_UR > ID 10965 and ID 10969 from HERCULI to HERCULIS till next update. Next release will do it at start.

V: 1.40 beta 1/2/3

ISSUE 1:

1. Travel Log Book is not updating
a. The entry gets updated rather than a new entry being created when travelling from destination to destination
b. Date and Time don’t update or change
c. Old logbook and clean logbook db’s used, same problem seen

Restart doesn't resolve the issue.

ISSUE 2:

Added a Rare but the information in the stored locations is: STORED: PARKED SHIP

And the time is also wrong, game time is 22:05.

In folder OCR_Export one file was created: export.csv with what seems to be valid XML encoding inside.

- Fixed Rare Commodity selection in Station Database not correctly added to Stored Location.
- Added modifying of all stations in database, not only the actual station.
- Correcting last known false data in database.
