Hmm... Can be a problem with your database. Did you checking the prices before saving? Is it everytime the same station? Please make a test with rescanning the false prices, saving the new and restarting again. Check now if the prices loaded from database are the same, you saved before. Otherwise please give me your database and more details to your issue (Station, Commodities, EliteOCR version).

Windows 7 64bit and office 2007 are now up to date, still get the same error...
Did you install the Access runtime for your Office version?
CMDR Ross had this error too a while ago, please look here and the following posts. The problem is on your side (your Office).
Perhaps reinstall or perhaps CMDR Ross can tell you, what he had done to fix this.

Working here as it should. I changed nothing in that direction, only added new functions for the UTC time calculation. Please check, if the key is noted in the TCE.ini file.
Anyone else having issues with the hotkey function in TCE. Please report, if it is working or not and what Excel version you are using. Thanks.

Forget all of that, I do not know what happened, must have been another program blocking it because it works again today !
I had restarted TCE many times yesterday before reporting this, always getting the same results even after shutting down everything else.
I should have restarted the PC.
Sorry.
Now I'm really curious to know what program or process could have done that !

First off Eventure hats off to you and REP for this awesome app. My only question is there a way to edit the database for typo's I put into Stations. I somehow changed or put in the wrong sector location for Lave Station and maybe some other glitches in some other stations and what happens is when I arrive at these stations the commodities tab will appear red and say No Station even if I manually selected the station with the wrong input value. I so wish I could easily edit these after entering data cause well I do make mistakes I am human after all
Oh and a few I chose the wrong Station graphic are these easily edited too.

I did get a copy of the database opened in access but don't see a column for Sector. I do see how the stations graphic can be replaced so that answer that question I think correct me if I am wrong

OK Got the latest version working ok so ignore everything except about the the RED No Stations Error still have that issue, but hey see I can fix things so there is hope
Oh and a few I chose the wrong Station graphic are these easily edited too.

I made a mistake when adding a new starport. I typed in the wrong station name. It won't seem to let me fix it though.
When I try to go database/stations and change the name then save, it seems to work. But when I hide that panel and the main panel shows up, in the box "current station" it changes back to the old, incorrect name. When I click 'update' in the "current station" box, it changes back to the correct name. When I hide the position panel, and trade panel, again, the old incorrect name shows up in the "current station" box.
When I click on database/stations, the correct info is shown.
When I click on 'commodity' to do the ocr scan, the correct station name is shown.
So basically, everything is correct, except in the "current station" box, it pops back to the old station name every time.
PS I seriously wish FD would change their "6" so it is more distinct from the "8". It gets me sometimes and fools the OCR too.

You might try starting access and opening the database \TCE\DB\TCE.mdb (MAKE A BACKUP FIRST )write down the the station the way you misspelled it and do a search for that mispelled word fix and save might help.

Hi,
did you using the installer version? I would recommend that, if you used the non-installer version for the V1.40. The command prompt stay only for some seconds with the Excel loading screen, thereafter the TCE Start window appear and TCE loads.
As i stated in the changelog, there is no update for older versions. The only files, that you can transfer, are the TCE.mdb and the TCE.ini file.
With the V1.40 Beta 4 you can edit all stations, not only the actual. But you can change the data also at the database. The sector column called BODY, its the official name from FD for it.

Thanks Eventure I got 1.4 working just copied my mdb file removed everything and drop the database pack in still got that problem with LAVE though, when i arrive its listed as LAVE Sector 10 not the station I think the sector was 0 or something when I added the station details I will look what you wrote about that thanks again I give you a thousand REP if I could

I have tried to reinstall everything, no joy. When using TCE on the computer with Elite - all is fine, and this comp has the exact same Office version as my other networked comp. I notice that the FPS in Elite drops from 60 to around 30 when going borderless (cant use fullscreen with TCE). I cannot accept a 50% drop in FPS. Anyone else with 5760x1080 that get a 50% drop in framerate when going window/borderless (gfx at max, inside hangar)?
When I play with the "disable screen capture" option in TCE on my 'Elite computer', I dont notice any difference. The 'start OCR' works fine including auto screenshot no matter if the checkbox is checked or not...
So....can anybody confirm that they are able to use TCE on another computer than Elite is running on? (I have one comp for Elite, and are trying to setup TCE on another computer)

Easy to check on your side:
1. Activate the OCR Debug window and Disable Screen capture checkbox in the Options panel.
2. Delete the screenshot present in the OCR_BMP folder and try to make a scan.
You will see, that EliteOCR didnt find the screenshot (it gives an error), because no one was made.
Back to the other problem. You said, that TCE working fine on your main PC, but the other wont work because of the error, you posted, right?
If so, then your second PC have a problem with the office installed. Something has been missed here.

The version with TCE or with a second PC? If the later, then i though, you will be the first doing it.
@ If deinstalling Office, use an app, that kills all registry entries also.

TCE reads only screenshots from its own folder (OCR_BMP). You have to copy your screenshot made by ED to this folder and rename it to Screenshot.bmp (perhaps with a small batch).

What I did? Complete reinstall of everything! (TCE/OCR/Office/Windows update/Office service packs/PC restarts... and some singing
)Now, about that automated script/program that copy F-10 images from my Elite screenshot folder, rename it to screenshot.bmp and placed in OCR_BMP folder, any tip?
