Hi Eventure,

For some reason it isn't working correctly, I'll have another look.

Checked EliteOCR (0.5.4.1) with Horizons too and it seems, that it have problems with the new bars right from the supply value. It can't read the supply level. It is always empty. All other is working.
Have to update EliteOCR to check, if the problem persist.

Thanks for reporting. It also affects the Credit panel. Both will be fixed with the next update.



Restart the TCE setup and change the path setting for the netlog and appconfig file to the correct location, otherwise use the auto-detect button.
I updated too and my path has changed also from D:\Elite Dangerous\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1001 to D:\Elite Dangerous\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1000.

I had already tried that but the paths were seemingly OK.

Solved it eventually by starting from scratch and reinstalling everything - still can't figure what the problem was in the first place though :rolleyes:

Update (1.55.2) released:



Changelog:
- Updating Cartography panel correctly, when adding new stations.
- Fixed an issue at the Star System Summary panel control not displaying correctly when using the Compact UI.
- Fixed an issue at the Star System Summary panel with the stations scrollbar not working correctly.
- Fixed an issue with displaying different date formats. It now depends on the Windows date setting.
- Fixed an issue on missing Summary and Credit panel when unhiding the TCE interface.
- Added support for 64-bit Elite Dangerous version.
- Added Horizons compatibility in reference of the changed NetLog file information and name.

Note:
This update didn't need any TDM usage for your database. Copy the content into your TCE folder to update your version.
Also, this update didn't hold any new commodities comming with Horizons. This will come with the next full version.
It's mainly a test update to improve compatibility with Horizons.

Question: What can i do, if a panel is too big or doesn't fit my resolution on my monitor?
Answer: Please select the button PANELS (under CONTROL) to view all panel settings. With the X/Y values you define the position of a panel, with the ZOOM value you set up the size. Click on SHOW, to display to panel, then adjust the values, till it fits your needs.

I'm at AENEAS: RUSSO RING: It's already a registered sation of mine, last updated 20:04:2015 when I land there it doesn't recognise the station. I go to db/stations, move to Registered Stations make a change and Save, still won't register.


I then go to FANNING RING in the same system. FANNING RING is RECOGNISED as expected. I then went back to RUSSO RING. Same problem.


Next system visited KOMOVOY: SILVES DOCK: Last updated: 20:04:2015 selected it as current position trade now available. Restarted TCE still doesn't recognise SILVES DOCK. Scanned goods, still not recognised in top bar but trade does recognise it. Restarted TCE still doesn't recognise where I am? Went to the other 2 stations in this system and they were recognised, going back to SILVES DOCK same problem. Odd behaviour but it still appears to work

Hi again,

if TCE didn't recognize your actual station, please check the stored Sector ID of the station. Sector IDs may change by updating ED. FD may have changed the numbers in the back.

What font do you use on TCE? It looks different (and better) to what I have but I didn't think that this could be altered - how do you do it?

It happens, if the font "Eurostile-Normal.ttf" is not installed. If you don't like it, you can remove it from the fonts folder of your system and get the above font (windows default).

A few queries

Hi Eventure

  • Following the upgrade to v1.55.2 I thought that the date format was meant to be linked to that chosen for the OS. Whilst some of the panels that were showing the US format have now changed to the UK format the 'Destination Panel' and the 'Trade Information Panel' are still showing the US format (my OS is set to the UK format). Had you overlooked these or is there perhaps a bug in the code which is preventing the change?

  • The station update of the 'Cartography Panel' is still not implemented. On v1.55.2 when adding a station the information is instantly updated in the 'Star System Summary' but he Cartography is only updated by exiting TCE and then restarting it. Presumably this is this because the data is held in Excel but is not updating the underlying Access database until later?

  • Are you able to publish the list of the values you have assigned to each of the current and 1.5 beta ships for the purposes of TCE? The reason I ask is that I have written a macro in Access that allows me to search for specific ships and knowing what values you have/will be assigning helps me to update this quickly.

Thanks for reporting, actually I missed them. All corrected now for the next update, also the update of the Cartography panel. I am quite out of VBA. Missed a false trigger.

The value for the ships are 2 ^ ID as you correctly realized. Here are the new ship entries for the ED 1.5 update:

I have disabled UAC, unblocked the zipped files, makro settings is both like instructions and a trusted folder, auto detect paths works like it should but also did the manual solution mentioned back on page around 156 and Still whenever I try to get it to calculate a trade I get "run time error 70 - Permission Denied"

any tips on how to fix it? would really love for it to work :)

Greetings Eventure,

First, thank you so very much for all of your devotion to this APP. As a NooB to ED, 1 week into it, this is exactly what I was looking for; however, I am having an issue. I spent a very long time last night reading every post in this thread. Here is what I have and what the issue is:

System OS: Windows 10 Pro, the latest build
Processor: i7-3820 CPU
RAM: 16 GB
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 680 Triple head ASUS running at 5670x1080 (Borderless)
Microsoft Office 365 running Excel 2014
All certificates are installed in the required locations and Macros are set as per your instructions

Now the good, TCE will launch properly; however, as you can see in the screen shot provided, it overlays like pictured. When selecting any panel, i.e. ships log, I get the second screen shot. I REALLY want this to work and notice that you are moving to .NET vice Excel. Should I just wait until that is released? I am very willing to assist in troubleshooting this unless you are basically done with Excel support and it's issues. I will gladly donate to your project if I could get to the "donate" window.

Hi,

did you activated the 'Run as Admin' at all shortcuts on your desktop?
UAC should stay at default setting.
