Out of boredom on a really long train ride yesterday, I created these ideas of following DLCs. I pretended we'll get support another full year, so until winter 2024 which would mean six more packs and two more anniversary animals. I tried to take underrepresented animals (monkeys, birds, ...) and meta wishlist animals specifically into account while not including flying birds as habitat animals or fully aquatic animals, though I've also included some personal wishes.

Those are some great ideas! I'd probably put the Wolverine in the highlands pack, but that's just my opinion since it's my most wanted animal. Of course I'd want it sooner lol.

I actually have been giving this some thought but here's how I'd do it. Some adjustment notes depending on if we only got content through the end of this year as well.

Fall 2023: Woodlands/Temperate Scenery Pack - Bavarian/Tudor scenery
Tasmanian Devil
Wolverine
Spectacled Bear
Wild Boar (noting, if we were to only get two more packs, this spot would go to the Kiwi and the Boar would be an anniversary animal)
Exhibit: Bald Eagle (non walk through exhibit, giving us a taste of what's to come in the next pack). Noting if we only got content through this year, this would be switched to the Painted Turtle.

2023 Anniversary animal: Wisent (replaced by Wild Boar if we just get two more packs)

Winter 2023: Avian Expansion - a focus on the Walk through/Non Walk through exhibit (WE and NWE respectively) system, but still with a handful of habitat birds that just won't fly in the game. Noting this pack is removed if we only get two more packs. So 16 exhibit birds and 4 habitat birds. A more expensive pack but hoping with the focus on exhibit birds, the work involved would be mitigated somewhat in order to make this amount of animals possible.

Winter 2024: Finale pack - I should note, if we were only to get two more packs, this would be the pack I would put in for Winter 2023. I'd substitute New World Monkeys as noted but otherwise everything would stay the same as I really believe, my own personal wants aside, these are the core areas/animals that should be focused on, but mostly can't find their way into another pack theme. Interesting to note, not a single one of these habitat animals is very high on my want list, so I'm literally designing this pack around community wants and general game needs.

It's funny, going down my own list, of my top 10 mammals only 6 are represented. Originally I was hoping to get the Tree Kangaroo, but felt the Kiwi made more sense. I guess you could take out the Wild Boar of the Temperate pack, make that the Anniversary animal for sure, add the Kiwi to the Temperate pack and make the Tree Kangaroo the Islands Oceanian representative. The other 3 of my top mammal wants (Bat Eared Fox, Black Back Jackal and Grey Kangaroo) I don't see really making it in, mainly because with an Arid pack already spoken for, I don't see a way to get them in, and they definitely aren't overall priority animals for the finale pack.

For the endangered one, I would prefer the Javan Rhinoceros over the Sumatran Rhinoceros.

Avian Animal Pack

Aviaries could work with having roof/ceiling added as an option for habitats, the roof can take 3-4 different forms, Steel Mesh, Chain Link, Glass and One-Way Glass. If this was the way aviaries were done, flying birds that aren't found in walkthrough aviaries can be added to habitats with ground animals, and then they fly off to placeable items for birds specifically. Other aviary types could be an exhibit box for smaller birds that a player may not want in a walkthrough exhibit or in a habitat aviary. This argument can be backed up by one, butterflies are too small for habitats anyway, two, sloths don't efficiently crawl on the ground, and three, bats don't take off from the ground. Depending on the species, there can be shared rigs for different models, say we had a macaw, we could have 4 more macaws to add more colour and diversity to the aviaries without just having to stick with one. Same could be done with eagles, vultures, owls, hornbills, toucans, ducks, geese, cockatoos and many more. An idea of how it could be structured is by using a bird species or two to represent all previous DLCs. When it comes to birds, their height requirements should be minimal and not absolutely crazy, not something matching their flying height in the wild. It would be toned down to be more doable.

Since birds are still up in the air (pun intended) i included a standard exhibit and an WE as an alternative.
Tried to make each pack consist of new rigs and more cloney picks, like the official pack are. Although the amount of birds and monkeys might be to high for their liking :D
