Remarkable Star Systems

What is the most remarkable star system you have seen so far? For me it is this, Kappa-1 Coronae Austrinae.

I have also seen at least 3 star systems with 5 stars. Made an impression.

Due to a war we are currently fighting, I keep passing through a system with a binary white dwarf and m class star in very close orbit. Always stop and stare for a minute, though this no where near the most impressive star configuration in the bubble, let alone the galaxy, but it's still a rare sight. LFT 507.

During my journey to Beagle Point with DW2, I didn't discover much in the way of the new "discoveries", in fact after I left the core, I came across no systems whatsoever with lagrange clouds or anything else brand new in - no biological features on any planets either.

However, the most noteworthy find I had, which was really rather interesting to me, was a system in the Formorian Frontier region which contained three undiscovered Helium-Rich Gas Giants.
In all my years playing this game, and my extensive exploration trips, I have never come across a single Helium-Rich Gas Giant. Then all of a sudden - boom - three in one system.

Then about 50 jumps later, another system with three HRGGs in, but these had been discovered by another CMDR.

On the return journey I'm going to go map these HRGGs, and hopefully I'll meander enough that I bump into some of the new content.

Has to be this one:

2 neutron stars, 1 white dwarf and 1 black hole. The entry point is smack bang in the middle of them. Took a 176 point turn and many drops out of supercruise to get out of there.

Now I feel stupid for mentioning LFT 507 at all. Cheers for that, I had NO idea...

That's actually quite normal. Check out the Helium-Hunters thread for more info on them, but bascially, they tend to form in clusters - so if you find one system with HRGGs, then check out the neighbouring systems with similar ID codes - you're likely to find more. In the systematic survey I'm currently conducting, I've found two such clusters in the same sector, including one system where all six gas giants were HRGGs.

As for a "remarkable" system for me, 17 Draconis has some pretty good views - but of course it should, since it was hand-crafted as a demo system.
