Yeah no it isn't. There are a great many times I want to get something accomplished, which even in the case of many wing missions, don't require any help from others, and to try and hook up with others, well I could have completed my missions and moved on before even being able to form a group. And I didn't use the word despise, that is you reading things that weren't written. In most MMO's, with some exceptions like ESO, my interactions with other players is limited to trading, either buying stuff from them, or selling to them. In ESO however, I raid, PVP and am GM of a 500 member guild, so someone would be hard pressed to say I despise playing with others.Thats extremly sad on the other side because I don't understand why people wouldn't like to play with others that have the same goal as you are.
I can understand it, if players have other goals then yourself but why are there people, who absolutely despise to play with others? Playing with people will always be more fun in a multiplayer game (Elite or any other game). Always.
It's like sitting home alone without any friends and play boardgames with yourself and saying: "Yup, I have fun".
I simply find it more effective, enjoyable and considerably less hassle getting things done by myself. Besides, I am a lone commander doing my own thing in the universe and fine with that, as are probably every explorer type player out there.
