Repeat the same Guardian unlock 18 times? Really?

Imo, FD really don't give a @ anymore about ED. They have their dinosaurs; they have their roller-coasters; they have a tired and bored design team who produce tired and boring, grind-filled game-mechanics; they have a case of 'selective deafness' regarding players' opinions; they have lead designers who may once have been good but now seem to be stuck in a particular mindset and cannot get out of it.

ED could have been the ultimate space-game. Now, it is tired, outmoded and the only reason we all still play it is because there is nothing else...yet. SC will not be the solution, imo but, hopefully, someone will buy the rights to ED and do something exciting with it.

After so many hundreds, thousands of hours in game, most games would feel tired out; worn out. ED though feels tired because of the design team, the money-managers and because FD have newer, more lucrative fields to plough.

Like many others, I will continue to play because there is nothing else remotely comparable. One day, I hope that will change.

42 pages in thread, and 44 pages in the other thread. No response in this one from FD, and no real response of note in the other thread. I can't be the only one thinking the lack of reply of any kind is a bit off?

I’m certain Frontier have read through this and the other thread. It’s pertinent to understanding how the feel of the game is with such updates.
It is very rare that I complain about this game, however, in this case I feel strongly that collecting these blueprints in this manner is a wrong and a detriment to the game.

If they have, then what's stopping them dropping a message to say they have? It leaves a terrible perception, and it doesn't leave anyone here confident that they have acknowledged this thread. Where is the engagement?

Ive heard they are aware and have talked about it, what comes of that? knows.

From what I can see of the new Guardian weapons, they require 18 weapon blueprints.
With the "fix" introduced by ED, I see that we now get a whole 1 material per run through of the Weapon Blueprint unlock.
Implications are very easy, please player, go REPEAT this section another 18 times.

I get that Elite has a degree of grind in it, after all that's how you get to Elite. But 18 more times, of the same thing.

Are you trying to say "go forth and play DCS my young padawan".

This game is mature will not change is subpar in content sophistication but has a nice space vehicles gameplay and ok Astronomical content. Space engine would be a good acquisition for Elite or Star C. There will be no space legs or moving beings-character animation. Things are winding down and maximizing previous content and gameplay.
I’m still having fun but do understand that repetitive gameplay and bugs are the norm.
Reporting dissatisfaction will likely lower 18 repeats to 9 or 6 as in the 3:1 material yield increases hence.
I don’t have the jam to suggest or complain ant more but
I thank those who do, thanks.

You want a response - next live stream all just constantly post "Why the Guardian Grid?" (or something like that)

If the stream is full of that then maybe they'll recognise the community is a little cheesed off?

SDC tried that during their last "clogging is bad m'kay" campaign they just booted them out for being offtopic.

After reading through many posts, I’ll wait until Guardian FSD booster comes back, then look for the most meta gameplay to get one- good to fix poor FSD ships.
Not interested in the set piece style Guardian gameplay.

That's the right approach. Decide what Guardian modules you actually want, then unlock those. The play at a Guardian site is still a bit repetitive, but it becomes do-able.

There was a post earlier in the thread from Xbox Commander Dumbfries#501 who looked at some achievement information, I did a little digging of my own and would just like to offer this data for discussion garnered from my XBox achievement information.

It will guarantee the question will be ignored if it is not the topic of the stream.

I'd like to see them do this as the topic of a livestream then. I've ground my way to triple elite/king/admiral but nothing has annoyed me as much as getting 8 module blueprints for when the FSD booster reappears. Especially since I got about 5 weapon blueprints before i knew that each site only gives out one type of blueprint.

If this is how the game is supposed to be played then they should do a livestream just to show us how interesting and fun it is to do the same crap 8 times all while being shot at and flipped over by the annoying sentinels. Just to show us how wrong people are when they complain about the grind.

Those stats are somewhat interesting. Seem weird though honestly.

Anyone facny gathering up all the suggestions on how to fix this horrible thing up somewhat?

Hey! Steam Numbers Do Not Count!

Oh. I forgot. Those are hard numbers, from actual use. :)

Try refuting that, Beige Squadron.
