This is a request to make the minerals found on planets transferable with other players.
I went on a mining run on a planet surface on the day Horizons came out and found a bunch of minerals, some of which are of no use to me. I run Beam lasers and Multi-cannons on my ship, so things like Carbon are useless to me... but I have friends who do run cannons and the like and those minerals would be of great benefit to them.
We tried the Discard button to see if it would eject on a surface or into space so that they can put it up, but it was a no go.
Since these minerals aren't in the commodity market, can we please at least makes these transferable by way of canisters ?
Maybe people who are doing planetary mining could eject minerals they don't want on the surface for others to find. Perhaps a wing of people could go exploring a planet together in different directions and meet up in a single spot later to transfer the minerals they don't need, but another player could use.
