Reset Rides while in Edit Trigger Sequence

I'm working on a cool ride for Halloween. I have to keep resetting the ride while I'm in "Edit Trigger Sequence," and you have to leave the Edit Trigger Sequence in order to put the ride into the testing mode. I'd would like to be able to put rides into testing modes while still in the Edit Trigger Sequence.

Hi there! Can you clarify which panel you have open where you can't test/reset the ride please? In the Edit Trigger Sequence view you should be able to test/reset the ride using the red and orange icons in the top right corner of the ride info panel.

I can turn the ride off when it's in testing mode, but if I shut it off while in trigger mode, I can't turn it back one without leaving the Edit Trigger.
