Resigned from The Code

Sounds like they are missing the limelight and are desperate for some attention so anything goes

If they feel the need to gank in private groups then they really have lost the plot.

Well done. Maybe you have just matured a little. Welcome to the enlightened life of the non guild, non clan, don't give a about other peoples "mission statements and policies" in a game. That's just too much hard work. What happened to having fun and relaxing?

I havent read the thread

Are there any decent pirate groups out there now? Ones that play by game rules and make Elite dangerous? (I would argue suicidewinding and mode switching are exploits and not playing by the game rules btw)

Come on over to the Canonn Science Palace. We are going to need leaders in the forthcoming Thargoid Invasion! We have a broad church of play styles, all are welcome.

Hello,

Today marks the day that I resign from The Code after witnessing the passing of five captains since the founding captain of the organization.

There are unfortunately values that the currently Code supports and uphold that I feel inappropriate to represent, namely the allowance of mode invasion. Therefore I feel it was only appropriate for me to leave the organization, especially after being referred to as an "unneeded public apologist".

I hope that The Code will prosper after my leave, regardless the fact that it has deviated from The Code I once knew and represented. I wholeheartedly hope that The Code will not become a replica of SDC in the days to come.

Please do not message me in an attempt to gather intelligence on The Code. Its secrets die with me, it's the minimum respect I can offer a place I used to call home for the last two years.

Sincerely,

Gluttony Fang

You are always welcome as a frienemy of the Hutton Truckers should you want a new home!

Don't trust him. It could be a long term plan to infiltrate an organization, only to betray it in its most vulnerable moment, and claim that he never actually left Code. Its a typical EVE trick.

Whilst the Code had some dodgy momments, the Hutton pad blocking during the CG for instance, they seemed to mature into a fun RP group. During my trading in open phase I met a fair few, sometimes I dropped cargo, sometimes I ran away and sometimes I got blown up. The important thing is that a mutually entertaining time was had by all. See that phrase SDC 'mutually entertaining'.
Shame if the Code are going backwards, 'mode invasion' is just plain bad manners.

Even tho and with all due respect to GF, I think sometimes he blows a lot of hot air from his nether regions, he doesn't come across as being that sort of chap.

If mode invasion means what I think it means then he did the right thing and good on him.

I could tell it was serious by the official looking font. What ever you do please don't stop being an active part of the community. I for one have enjoyed reading and discussing your ideas as well as your 'damage limitation' posts after The Code did various 'traumatic' events in game.

I am also reminded of the last episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation... All Good Things! ;)

Take care CMDR. o7
