If I wanted to attention seek, I could have created a drama out of my leave and I easily could have with my writing capacity and knowledge of The Code along with the relative upstanding status with the community (much obliged).
That being said, the easiest way for me to inform other player groups of my leave would be using this forum and reddit, which I did. I fully understand some people will see it as pure attention seeking, and that regardless of how I explain my rationality, some will disagree. Therefore I'll reiterate that this is merely what I believe is the most efficient and effective way to informing other player groups that are in contact with me since most of them check this forum or/and reddit while their individual communication platform widely varies (discord, teamspeak, email, website, you name it).
I don't particularly hate anyone from The Code, there is a particular individual I find difficult to work with, however.
If I hated someone from The Code I probably wouldn't have left on relatively good terms.
Don't trust him. It could be a long term plan to infiltrate an organization, only to betray it in its most vulnerable moment, and claim that he never actually left Code. Its a typical EVE trick.
Why leave and contribute to the decline of something when you can remain and strengthen it?
Still, I respect the sentiment behind leaving even if I don't respect the logic of it.
Who cares, honestly? It's a community of make believe space pilots.
Hello
Today marks the day that I resign from The Code after witnessing the passing of five captains since the founding captain of the organization.
Hello Cmdr Lightspeed, the Fuel Rats will be with you in a few moments, please add Cmdr Harry Potter to your friends list XD XD
If he finds a proper group and the right members. What he said. +1.
GF would make an excellent Wing Leader.
My run-ins with the Code have been honorable and clean so far. +1 to you GF. I'd trust you to give fuel but would expect to have to pay in cargo.Hello Cmdr Lightspeed, the Fuel Rats will be with you in a few moments, please add Cmdr Harry Potter to your friends list XD XD
To be brutally honest I don't know how it'd play out. I think personally I'd trust GF to his word if he wanted to join, as above they farm cargo not salt and despite being bad guys they did so honourably... For the most part after the teething introductory period anyway...
Not sure I'd trust HP though, SDC have run a few too many false flag operations for me to believe a word they'd say...
As before, not my call to make on any of it though.
.Of course he's bitter - the group he's been with for a couple of years, and which he's defended in the forums, turned into a bunch of a*holes. I'd be bitter too.
