Can some one please give me some good news? Fdev isn't talking and I'm worried about the longevity of ed.

Give it some time, it's not like you're going to get some answers on a Sunday night
This week we're supposed to get Update 11 (along with some fixes for Horizons too) plus the return of the streams
I ate a tandori chicken earlier and it was good. There are some of it left if you want.
That's both an observation and a good news. I hope it's ok.
They won't tell anything about the game longevity. Neither bad or good. Now, if you are smart you can clearly see it's not in good health, but since they didn't say they also stopped developing on PC, then you can guess it's not yet time for DOOM.
I've got nothing for you - I don't see an interesting future for ED.

Doom confirmed! its official, written in plain sight! someone told me everyone is leaving the game, it has to be true, they showed me steam charts, coloured graphs and paragraphs from random and unrelated FDev forum posts
I do look forward to streams and general CM facetime coming back
