Most simple explanation: the guy, writing the fsd-deployment script to the cg participants is sick at home and nobody else knows how to do the script... that's why there is the note "a later date" 'cause nobody knows when he'll return to office healthy again... so my best guess.

Have to say, I'm starting to get a little impatient myself. Can they not just give us an update of why there's a delay or is this normal for these type of module deployments?
I'm particularly eager on the 6A for my T9 - that'd make A>B trading a lot more convenient as I'm currently a tad short in terms of jump range so it'd be a great help.

Yep, I'm sitting around in Colonia waiting for the rewards to arrive, because my Alt want's to ride on my FC back home, and I plan on a great exploration-by-carrier return trip.

Ah Epic. I never bothered as I already had an (EDH only) alt, and that hasn't seen any action since I reset my main. Bit of a waste of time, money and effort in hindsight getting the alt, oh well. Might use them in similar fashion though as you once I get my FC back.
My guess would be that this delay has something to do with the fact that this time rewards will have specific icon and all kinds of special restrictions attached to them to avoid repeating what happened last time, so Frontier might be planning to release them along with next update (10).
Other than that it's weird how they all are oddly silent.
Optimist in me wants to believe they are planning surprise deployment of all of it very soon, including console release, but they don't want to say anything prematurely, before it's 100% ready.

Galactic Logistics did not expect that there would be so many participants and so many Frameshiftdrives to be delivered.
In a press release, Galactic Logistics stated that
"delivery of so many Frameshiftdrives is not possible at this time, as we simply do not have the transport capacity. We can only manage this task if the Panther Clipper is available. We and Brewer Corporation will make every effort to have Zorgon Peterson start production of the Panther Clipper."
Zorgon Peterson and Faulcon DeLacy explained that the current significant shortage of Thermal Cooling Units would delay production. However, they are already working on a solution. Zorgon Peterson is asking all commanders to transport TCUs from Megaship "Baron Munchhausen", currently stationed at Beagle Point, to the Starport Chariot of Rhea in Reorte.

Dav's manually updating FSD stats as fast as he can, but there are thousands to get through.
This was first comunity goal for me. How long to wait for the frameshift drives? Normal times.
