Rogue Signal Source visible in SOL!

I'm in Sol right now, using the FSS. I was in Sol a couple of of days ago and didn't see this happen, this is new!

RSS SOL 1.jpg

when you zoom in on them (like the screenshot) the UI glitches! I can only see 6 presently.

Reporting several of them in "Plio Eurl RL-R C19-2"
I only see them in FSS. They don't show up in the ship panel. Flying towards them now for quite some time.
I'm 1,25 million Ls from the main star now and about ready to give up. Gonna fly a bit further and if nothing shows up i'll jump to the closest system in front of me.
I've been the first commander to enter this system if that matters.

I'll use the thread for updates if there is anything found.

Don't know if this is Thargoid related but i wouldn't have expected Thargoids in this direction.

This is the direction the signal is in.Several landmarks in the picture (3 Negulae on top and other galaxy to the left) so if you're smart you can figure out where it comes from. Pointing directly at one of them. Maybe we can triangulate this.

edit: 2 million Ls from mainstar now. I give up and jump to next system in their direction.

I guess thanks to the new FSS update they are visible from all over the galaxy. I was able to see 8 of my home system in the bubble.

If they do not appear on the panel, you are not in the system where Stargoid is located. I am now in the system with the 1st Stargoid. And I can see it on the panel.

So in Synuefe EK-E b45-0 there was a group of 4 together. I started "chasing them" in supercruise. Then gave up and jumped to the nearest system to see if I could see them there. Which I could. So I started lining up systems with where the signals were. After a few jumps it became apparent that I was jumping in a straight line. I have now got to Synuefe XE-N b40-3 and the signals are still directly in front of me. No Idea how much further they are.

So I went to Synuefe YK-W c18-1 and was able to target the rogue source last week, don't remember if it was Friday or Saturday. At that time the FSS showed a distance of about 300,000,000 Ls from me. Additionally I noticed that the distance was increasing. The next play session I was unable to select it. So then I jumped to the next system that it seemed to be headed to Col 285 Sector FE-R b5-4. In that system the FSS was showing a distance that was decreasing. I then thought that maybe if I went to Sol I would be able to see a distance to all the Stargoids. This hunch turned out to be false, thought maybe HIP 22460 might show something but there were no Stargoids in FSS showing a distance. So at this point I thought maybe there would be other systems in the path of the #1 Stargoid that did show a distance, giving a "preview" of where it was going to move through next. Sure enough, I think it was Hyades Sector QC-U b3-2, I was able to get a distance reading in the FSS.

I am going to jump in game and see where the #1 is at now, have a feeling it will be far gone from Synuefe YK-W c18-1 and either in another system or riding the space between.

Yes, I have been using that, but I am more trying to see if there is a hint as to where they are going. I don't think I have seen anyone mention that the FSS had a distance to the signals and that it was something you could check in systems in the path of the UIAs.
Second tab (before you get to the UIA 1, 2, 3, etc) will show what they may be flying close to eventually.

I went to Lombiku to mine.
Scanned the system and there were about a dozen rogue signal souces
None showed up on the list of the system.
They were not in my discoveries.
Is this normal?
Do they have to be reported?
A little information for me please.
And I have no idea how to report anything.

Found out discoveries don't get reported, to that is a part answer.

It's normal for now. The eight stargoids that are converging on the bubble are now detectable using the FSS from thousands of light years away as "rogue signal sources". So even though they looked like local signals they weren't in the same system as you, they're detectable from many different places.
