Parks Rose Lake Park - The Life of a Trolley Park

Rose Lake Park, 1910 - 1919. The Phoenix rises from the ashes. Following the great fire that destroyed most of the midway and the beloved Jackalope side friction roller coaster, the park founders have spared no expense (not one single penny from that triple indemnity insurance pay-out) to not only restore the park but to bring it into a new era of grandeur. In these first screenshots, we look at the former midway area, now known as The Lawn, and the lovely new Japanese Garden. Also, we proudly present part one of Episode 3 of our Rose Lake Park YouTube series.

Just finished watching; thank you so much for kind words about the trolley, looks right at home in the park and really cool to see it in there! Also really cool to see Parlusiana accepted in to the world of the park, I will finish the whole of my Parlusiana map at some point but hopefully can keep sharing little bits (like I did with the Railroad) as I go along!

You guys always put so much detail in to everything it's outstanding, not just in to the rides (Versuvius, The Haunted Swing and The Witches Wave were particular highlights) but also the non-ride stuff. The Japanese Garden is just beautiful and the saloon and frankly bizarre babies incubator attraction are so well done.

Looking forward to the next episode and getting to download the park and have a look around!

Rose Lake Park map 3 (1910 - 1919) is now available for download on the workshop and Episode 3, part 2 is now up on YouTube!

Rose Lake Park, 1910 - 1919 (map 3). Created by: Fisherman, Wagi, JPAlmighT, Wolf Tenor, Bullethead, and BeyondDrewTV.

This park map represents the third chapter of the journey chronicling the life of Rose Lake Park from its humble beginnings as a picnic grove at the end of a trolley line near Peepsburgh in the heart of Plancovania, to the world renown destination amusement park it is today. The park has survived a great fire that destroyed much of the midway, including the beloved Jackalope roller coaster. Thankfully, the founders took out an insurance policy (triple indemnity too!) so they were not only able to replace the Jackalope with an all new, more thrilling version, but they were also able to add many new rides and attractions to the new Lawn area where the midway once was. They also built a new Japanese Garden and a Grand new Boardwalk on Lake Leemay, home to several new rides.

The park requires MANY billboard images and several custom sound effects tracks for the map to run correctly. Please download them from our Google Drive. Place the contents of the file "RLP 1900-1909 User Media.zip" into your User Media folder and place the contents of "RLP 1900-1909 User Music.zip" into your User Music folder BEFORE opening Planet Coaster to ensure that everything works correctly (you should hear sounds all around the park, especially around the lakes and the hotel):

We strongly suggest that you allow the game to download the required toolkit items for you upon loading the park.

Also, the park has a hilarious, and often sordid, history. So, if you are a park history buff and have a junior high sense of humor, follow along at the Plancovania Historical Society's Blog page for the park here: https://roselakepark.blogspot.com/

Awesome as always, think this is my favourite map so far, incredible details throughout and the boardwalk looks really cool!

Now to download the park and have a proper look around! (y)

Looking great - from the screenshots I was really worried that the trolley had gone but so glad to see it relocated with the beautiful new terminus!

I think the highlight so far is the dragon coaster with the dragon caves underneath, perfect for the park and the era and beautifully executed!

Looking forward to the next installment! :)

Rose Lake Park map 4, the 1920s, is now available! And Episode 4, part 2 is now up on YouTube!

This park map represents the fourth chapter of the journey chronicling the life of Rose Lake Park from its humble beginnings as a picnic grove at the end of a trolley line near Peepsburgh in the heart of Plancovania, to the world renown destination amusement park it is today. The 1920s were the roller coaster renaissance in the US and Rose Lake had built FOUR new coasters by 1929: Frederick Church's Dragon, with its Dragon Caves mill ride built beneath; the terrain-hugging Bearcat with its gorgeous art deco station; Flying Turns; and the breathtaking John Miller Comet that flies through the ravine behind the boardwalk. Check out the park to see the coasters plus a fun house, a mirror maze, a new penny arcade, the brand new Rose Savoy Theater, and more!

Haven't had the chance to have a proper look around yet but very much enjoyed the video updates, the new coasters and additions to the park are looking great!

Adelines is the restaurant I wanted to build when I built 'Zeek's Shrimp Shack' in a park I have yet to share - my attempt doesn't even come close; looks really nice!
