I'm relatively new and wonder -- is this the kind of thing Mobius is about?...or are they doing some coordinated tasks? Nonetheless, all explorers are welcome to request my friendship as well. I think it'd be cool to be able to see where ppl are when exploring the black of space.

I'm about 7K Ly from reaching Sag A* but off the main highway about 700Ly up. Took about 24Hrs gametime to cover the 19K so far so I am hardly sprinting. May do a marathon tomorrow with it being a BHol in UK. Still cannot decide whether to come back to occupied space or push on through once I have reached my destination.

I'm so far away from "civilisation" that I might dip into open.
If you are a fan of SOLO mode , trust me when I say you will have a very very very small chance of seeing another commander after 500 LY out of the civ. bubble if you dip in to OPEN
And even then they have no chance of getting to you if you don't want them to, as I reckon most won't have interdiction modules , or have them and wouldn't dream of using it.
