Running into invisible exobiology too now.

In addition to the slow destruction the SRV will get from invisible rocks I am now running into (literally) invisible plants. Much more annoying as well because the SRV simply stops dead and can’t continue where the rocks at least it can often drive over them.

I was not sure what was happening until I noticed one of the shadows of the tube palm tree looking things on the ground but nothing casting it. Drove over to and BAM. Stopped cold.

this probably explains the missing bacteria, if one cannot see them, how is one supposed to know where to find them?

I know that the labyrinth pattern bacteria has the habit of spawning obscured by ground. Sometimes more, sometimes less. If it's similar in colour to the ground to boot, it's nigh on invisible. Can't see the contours, can't see the colour. You may only have luck with night vision highlighting the pattern a little.

I encountered invisible plants also, luckily not by ramming into them, but oddly have experienced kind of the opposite as well.... highly visible exobiology that is not registering as existing for any form of scan

I feel your pain, I have enough trouble dealing with the plants that I can see already.

Yeah, once in a while there's some weird stuff going on.

Sampling Tool handicap level 100.... try to guess what I'm sampling here? ;)

True enough, the fact they're all completely indestructible reminds me of the trees in GTA.

Well, that's a valid point.

Thinking about it, I believe a single larger Biological could full-stop a boosting and guns blazing Cutter or Corvette...
Usefulness of producing gooey biomass all over the place by steamrolling plants aside, they really shouldn't be 100% static and indestructible monoliths indeed :p

Settlements could plant cacti all around the place, good luck getting through those with your SRV.

"The [alt on the genetic tool] shows us for what we really are!"

Yeah - this has been a problem since launch. We just didn't see it...
