Issue #13 Release

Greetings, Commanders!

vhdDipB.jpg

Today is our one-year anniversary, and we're celebrating in the way we always do—releasing another issue of the magazine! We're kicking our second year off with a bang with our best issue yet, filled to the brim as always with photography from our amazing partners in the SVPFA and artwork from our fantastic artists.

In this issue, as always, we have a broad spectrum of fascinating stories to peruse. Speculate with us about the suspiciously similar histories of several men called John Graham. Drool with us as we review one of the Alliance's new ships, the Challenger. And learn with us about the Galaxy's most powerful women, who often aren't covered in galactic media.

Our cockpit listening option is still in preparation, and should be added to this post next week. In the meantime, check out the digital version of Issue #13 and don't wait!

See you around the black, Commanders! o7

Issue #14 Release

Coming out of hyperspace in systems around the Galaxy, it’s the fourteenth issue of Sagittarius Eye!

issue14_cover.jpg

In issue 14 we explore the backstory of Jaques, interview Inara’s #1 ranked Commander, dive deeper into the love and hate of our alien neighbours the Thargoids, investigate the adrenaline-fuelled world of underground racing, find out what goes into planning expedition waypoints, and more.

Audio Edition
Did you know we have an audio edition of the magazine? Well, we do — and you can find it on our SoundCloud. Currently, we have Issues 12 and 13 up. Issue 14 will be audioified soon, it should be online within a week. Depending on interest, we may go back to the older issues and audioify them to add to the library.

We are looking into other audio distribution platforms. We'll let you know via social media and the newsletter if and when we expand to other platforms.

Looking For
We are constantly on the look-out for new stories and events taking place around the Galaxy. Some are discovered by our intrepid reporters and others are sent in via our website submission form by anyone around the Galaxy. If you have a story or event that you think would be good in the magazine, send in a submission!

Co-Pawlots
Do you have a furry or not-so-furry companion that keeps you company on your long space journeys or keeps the trumbles in check? Then we want to see and hear about them! You can send in a submission via our website or send us an email with all the details. Your companion may be featured in an upcoming Co-Pawlot feature.

Community Manager - Over and Out
Jessica Sonnet, our community manager, has decided to step down. We'd like to thank her for her community engagement and outreach.

Even $1 helps and gets you your name in the magazine, on the website, and in the description of videos. For $5, you get access to wallpapers from our partners in the SPVFA, access to a channel on our Discord to chat with the SAGi staff, 300DPI issues so you print our own black market edition magazine, and some WIPs. More tiers may be added in the future.

Stunning! As always.

P.S. I forget, does it say within the magazine itself where and how to submit crossword solutions?

Yes it does :)

Sagittarius Eye Magazine said:
When you think you’ve worked out
every clue, send your solutions in
to editor@sagittarius-eye.com. One
correct entrant will be drawn at random,
and will win a very rare official
‘Frontier’ paintjob for the Krait Mk II!

Is Sagittarius Eye now defunct? There isn't an issue on the website since last July.
Nothing this month, either. I think the energy/momentum ran out. The staff may have moved on as well. Not sure. It is made by players and players move on to other games sometimes. Sad but true.

Hi - I'm one of the editors of SAGI - unfortunately the mag is on indefinite hiatus for a number of reasons, the main one being a couple of key people no longer being available. The state of the game hasn't helped matters, either: the game needs a vital player base to make the magazine worth doing, and unfortunately things feel in a bit of a negative spiral right now.

Ever the optimist, I hope we're back some day - but unfortunately, this won't be any time soon.
