"Salvage Cargo from <System Name>" cannot be completed, due to having no S&R

So, I've been doing one of the weekly assignment where I needed to salvage within a certain system, (in this case, BD-10 5238, inside Yuri Grom's territory) then deliver them to a station within the same system.
However, the problem is that because none of the stations have any Search & Rescue service, (OR, there actually is, but are unavailable for some reason) I can't turn in any of said salvage.

Edit: just noticed on the System Map that those stations DO have S&R... but they're "Suspended".

Normally those missions want you to hand in the salvage to the Power contact (which is available). Though equally it could be broken

which is what the 2nd screenshot's showing. I mean, because the S&R service's unavailable, I can't turn them in towards my PC.

And like I said, it's one of those Weeklys where they have to be turned in at a PC within the same system as where I did the salvage.

Ah. Anarchy factions close the S&R contact if in charge of a station, and all the (major) stations in that system are controlled by the same (well-backed) Anarchy faction.

You'll just have to skip that task this week, since there's not enough time to replace the controlling faction.
(Hopefully this is something Frontier eventually notices and either adds to the checks for "valid task" or gives up and stops specifying systems on the weekly tasks at all)

It is kinda telling that even fdev don't understand PP2 rules well enough to write compatible missions for it.

I had megaships to scan in 2 types of system this week. One worked fine, the other won't count at all. And then there are the Odyssey-specific missions on an Horizons commando ... always fun.

That smells like a bug to me. I presume the power S&R was put in place for just that contingency.

Check all of the stations in the system, even ground ports. As long as one of them has both Power Contact and S&R facility enabled you can turn in there.

I was able to contribute black boxes and wreckage in Orrere (which is controlled by an Anarchy faction) by finding one of the planetary ports was controlled by a Democracy-aligned faction which had S&R available.
