Let me guess, born in the USA?
Agreed.

I don't see how anyone can equate private or solo play to cowardice.

Wanting to impact the galaxy with no fear of repercussion in a game that has the word "dangerous" in the title is pretty cowardly.
Its called Elite Dangerous no Elite Murderous.
Also games like Call of Duty dont require that you are currently a member of a military to play. You are not required to fight while in the battlefield while playing Battlefield. So having a specific word in the title does not mean that you are required to be in that state at all times. Its silly to think so.
You are calling 90% of the current griefing community cowards as well. They wont dare play in open when it comes to trading or making enough money for insurance.
It's impossible to parody these people. I got nowhere to go.Combat logging is the tool of the coward, as is private group and solo play.

Why can't we all be friends, with our varied play styles and differing opinions? Not that I'll ever outright call anyone a coward for switching..
..but that's pretty easy to see.

I didn't call anyone a coward! I simply replied saying that I could easily see how someone would call certain actions within this game cowardly.
"Combat corvette"
lol
Because the Corvette is worthy of PvP combat even when it's engineered.
I am not a member of said griefing community, nor do I condone their actions, however I would argue that they're a lot braver than the majority of people who've taken one glance at this forum and decided open isn't for them because they're too scared to lose their ships.
2+ years in open and I've never been the victim of a griefer.
