Satisfactory: Factory Building Sandbox

Nuclear power and waste processing is now up and running, currently hunting crash sites for alt recipes before embarking on my next round of improvements, northern forest is definitely my favourite start point, just has lots going for it and it looks pretty too :)

I've never really looked deeply at the alt recipes but this playthrough, I gotta say they're worth it. Some synergize well among themselves, so get that vantage point and good luck hunting. I had picked Dune Desert because I didnt want so much foliage, but the rework is definitely a pretty sight in the N Forest.

I'm Count Nukular now. Obviously I have researched uranium tech. But I'm far from nuclear power.

No, I'm "count" because I tried calculations in the machinery UI. You know where you input percentage for the overclockins? You can type 100*40/30 and it calculates result, applies it as input for the power setting and job well done. Amazing! I'm too lazy to use tools outside the game - but I COUNT on THIS!

Hehe, I now have 9 (I think) reactors running and all the associated lines to run them along with the even larger line to recycle the waste into a sinkable resource, currently producing a little over 27,000MW of power in total including coal and fuel generators and a decent amount of awesome shop tickets, I'm currently building some large base component factories before I start working on the final elevator phase.

I have just build a train track into the Northern Forest. I'm still unsure how to design the factory. One hand my current modular approach brought me farther than any playthrough before. The other hand I never know how much of a basic ressource I will need. Maybe I should make scalable modular plants. Usually I go with balanced inputs - not the manifold approach.
