Say goodbye to Anarchies

Ignorant question here: controlling anarchy factions don't hand out bounties even if you hunt in a res/CNB in their system?

Yes they do not. But there are ways to get them for anarchists too, they're just not that convenient as going to a res or compromised beacon.

Edit: ninja'd

So many systems tanking in unprecedented chunks, I will spare you snips of them all. In the space of a single week we stand to lose a 3rd of our systems. Many of these are systems we've had multiple wings pouring INF into, as well as wings sabotaging the other factions. In many we aren't able to generate even the slightest blip that'd indicate we'd even been there, and are now forced to turtle up in a select few because even as a large playergroup we can't fight 10+ wars while simultaneously running interference in the systems that're still tanking.

I maintain that this warrants a rollback or at the very least a freeze, this now represents approximately 2 years of BGS efforts on our part and is snowballing faster than even our greatest pessemists (of which we have many) predicted.

This ain't even pessimism, just simple BGS math. Only way to delay the inevitable is to lock all the other 6 factions into wars and freeze the influence for as long as you can.

Only the smallest, sub 5k pop systems are a bit safer due to no EDO assets. Our only system with no planets is the most stable now. I used to love our nice blue atmospheric planets but I guess nuking them all is the only solution now. Radioactive waste beats having suicidal settlements.

Not always it is true (however, those systems you've mentioned is very common). Sometimes I find systems without landable planets with more than 100k population. Even if we can, can be found good systems without landable planets with millions or even billions population, however this is very rare.

I've also lost my efforts in anarchy systems and I hope they quickly fix it. If they hit during civil liberty, security drop can be very brutal, which I've personally feel it. Worst if civil liberty and raiding hits on large population system - I don't need to say it, how many days can be lost it by this.

I actually recognize the last graph from memory, I was there with couple friends last night to try and help out. If I'm not mistaken, we all failed and it's at war now.

Thanks for the assist. Yeah, it's a pretty popular system for outlaws from many groups, and we have always liked that it brings people together. This is one of the ones we'll be trying to hold as long as we possibly can.

We're staying there for as long as it takes, feel free to PM me if you need anything specific done.
There's only a couple of us, but that system is very fond to us and we're doing what we can, following a lot of GT70 advice as well.

If the anarchies disappear, will anything actually be lost?

I mean, the Black Market mechanic is the only unique thing about them and it is pretty pointless given that piracy is rather underwhelming (loot from hatchbreaking doesnt inherit ship speed so collecting up the goodies is painful and not fun)
Black Market is not unique to anarchies. All the social type government stations have them too. I think anarcy stations shouldn't actually have black markets because their open market should technically already be that way, but that is all aside.

Odyssey players should care, at least, since the anarchy controlled stations are places to sell illegal stuff to bartenders and buy E-breaches. As for the others, well I personally sometimes do a bit of piracy in the anarchy systems, so I can get my hands on stolen goods without getting a bounty on my head and notoriety in the worst case. Selling the stolen goods in the black market is one way to affect faction influence negatively and I sometimes just like pirating for a change of pace. Then there's the genear flavour: A galaxy without hives of scum and villainy is a much duller place.

As things currently stand we really don't want to own any settlements... so winning war in space is preferable to winning it on the ground. The less involved we are in Odyssey content the better, it seems. Which is sad, because we actually quite like the Odyssey content...
