I hope something does come out eventually, and I'm sure *something* will, but whatever it is will be underwhelming just due to the sheer amount of hype up to this point. The long time to release doesn't help either, what's the new estimate for the persistent universe, 2017? Elite will have most of the same features by then, be mature and, I have no doubt, be better than SC for a long while as SC catches up and fixes all the issues that are inevitable for a so complex mmo. I kind of think SC has dropped the ball already, tbh; it's just taking too long. If what comes out is BRILLIANT, it will all be fine, but it's going to have to be all that's promised to please anyone other than the super-crazed fanatics in denial that have spent all their money on ships for a non-existent game. Those guys are scarily protective, and everything about their responses to criticism on reddit or youtube or whatever screams out that they're overcompensating for doubt and are in denial.

I do hope it's great when it's released though, I'm just getting less and less optimistic every week.

Dunno if true.

I backed it too in 2012. im no expert at all with making games , but i can calculate somewhat. if there are really more as 200 ppl working overthere and they raised 90mil , then yes , money would dry out soon.

again , i can calculate somewhat , could be completly wrong and tey have money till 2018 , i dont know really.


i hope it comes out tho

Honestly we should not be posting this here.

I'm highly skeptical BUT hopeful that SC will succeed

But reading on R/starcitizen and chairmans letters.
This Escapist article is most likely completly ,it becoming more evident that all of this is coming from Derek smart.
and that the so called employees are made up sources.

also some other journalist have come forth and explained that they where offered this same story, but once they started to go over the sources the journalist came to the conclusion that most of the stuff is made up.
