As I said, Frontier is MORE than aware of what to do.

I know many comments I have read all over the place (not only here) are concerned no screenshots / videos etc.

Well, I kept saying they WILL be coming and so does David. :smilie:

and...............as so many of us positive Elite / Frontier supporters thought, one of the main reasons why Frontier thought to use Kickstarter is so as they don't need to try to get money / support elsewhere as they might lose some creative control who BETTER than to ask the ACTUAL target audience "I would like your support, as I thank you I will give you x after all we are making this for YOU" it REALLY involves us all.

I think we are making history here savour the moment. Remember where you were when you FIRST heard the news. Luckily where I was, it was a public holiday I got the message within 15 minutes and spent the day watching the kickstarter money go up, reading interviews and of course on the forum. Many of us original ELITE fans are living it all AGAIN..and WHAT a DAMN HONOUR that is. :)

Thankyou to EVERYONE involved with the project !!! and of course the grand master David Braben constantly innovating, look as Raspberry Pi (my students LOVE raspberry pi!) :)

I totally agree, this has been a waiting game for David Braben as much as it has been for all of us. It really does feel like the time is right for this.

woah woah, screenshots? Slow down a bit, They only made the announcement that Elite 4 was given the green light a few hours ago and still have over 50 days to make the budget costs needed to go into production. If I wake up tomorrow and see a thread titled "playable demo avaliable for download." Then some of you really need to cut down on the coffee and redbull.

Yes it is amazing I just happened to be online 15 minutes after the announcement and beause it was a public holiday here I spent the day monitoring everything and posting here.

No you won't get a demo that soon :smilie: but you will see that interview with the screens in the backgrounds from the link I posted and also Frontier posted. Here it is for convenience. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-20205555

Oh yes. I see, however these could just be very early draft renders or made specifically as subliminal advertising to help with the campaign.

You could have said something worthwhile though - like make the observation that in fact screenshots of our ships are now finally going to be here from everyone now that the devcam is coming in 1.2...

Impressive thread necro, from 2 days after the kickstarter to now. Unfortunately not something I'd rep you for, as thread necro shouldn't be encouraged.

On topic: Yes we'll be able to take pics of our ships now with the dev cam. Let's hope the external camera gets developed properly as the dev cam is a temporary feature (not sure how many realise it's temporary)
