Selecting increased reputation as mission reward.

Does anyone know if selecting increased reputation as a mission reward increases the amount that the mission counts towards Fed or Imperial rank?

I’m wanting to increase my Federal Rank and am happy to get lower credit rewards and faster ranking but if it doesn’t make any difference I’d rather keep the credits.

Its the same reputation as it was before. If the Faction is Superpower-Aligned, the rep will be "grandfathered" :) to the Superpower as well.
