General Separate CG leaderboard for fleet carriers

I've participated in the last few CGs after a bit of a hiatus in Elite, and boy are they unappealing now. I used to love trying to see how high I can get on the leaderboards for contributions, and its a great way to grind out additional rank and credits while I do it, but honestly Fleet Carriers destroy community goals for the rest of the community. The top 10 cmdr's and i'm willing to bet a decent chunk of the top 10% overall will be purely fleet carrier owners, and its demotivating for the rest of the community who have to make 4x or 5x the loops just to deliver the same amount of cargo a FC can do in one run.

There should be another leaderboard for FC owners so the rest of us can see where we actually finished within the community and not get pushed down to 25% or 50% by all the FC owners
 
No. Fleet Carries create a great opportunity for Community game-play. The biggest issues I saw were non-carrier owners taking the attitude that I should either eat the cost of Tritium / wear-and-tear on the carrier and/or that I should load the carrier for free and charge market or below market rates on the cargo. In that environment, I'm unloading the carrier myself.

A short wish list to improve community game-play:
An app to manage the carrier outside of the game would help greatly
The ability to schedule a Jump for a specific time.
Better visibility on the Carrier's Market/Tariff/Services provided and on the Carrier's itinerary.
 
I don't agree. I have a FC but I'm not using it for this CG, I'm just hauling direct in my Cutter. Direct hauling is more efficient when the supply sources are nearby because you only have to haul each ton once instead of twice.

Carrier owners only have an advantage when the supply sources are many jumps from the CG system or there is a very long supercruise from star to station.

Exactly. For this CG, Carriers are pretty much completely useless. I have three, I used none of them.

They were useful for the Colsack halulage CG, but there will always be CG's that benefit some people and not others.

Carriers where a great help to me in the Coalsack CG and would have been essential if I had participated in the Colonia one last week, it can be a little bit of a hassle finding one that is willing to let you join in but they can boost the social aspects of a CG for us non carrier owners.
