The move to our new ministerial offices at Robson Port in Mechet goes well. I've managed to taxi most of my personal fleet over from Eleu and Santjalan, with just one Clipper still to move. Wish I could find a trustworthy private pilot whom I could contract to move my ships for me, but alas it just doesn't seem possible at the moment. Perhaps the lack of available seats on the Orca class passenger starships that sometimes pass through the neighbourhood has something to do with it. Although I believe ticket prices for those things are astronomical, or was it astrological ? always get those two mixed up. Anyways, out of the reach of a simple civilian pilot looking to hitch a return ride after ferrying some schmucks' ship half way across the bubble, just because they couldn't be bothered with the leg work themselves.
Anyways, at Robson Port, the head of the local public service was keen to bend over backwards to set me up with the very best of everything. Being the highest ranking Sepp party official in the system has some rewards I guess. Whilst I was happy enough to take the very best office, as befits my station in life as the Minister for Economics and Trade, I really had to insist that the very best accommodation be set aside as VIP quarters for visiting dignitaries. Not that there is anything wrong with second best around here. Still very plush and opulent. More than satisfactory for the occassional layover in port. I'm usually far happier flying my starship than a ministerial desk anyways.
I did notice, with some slight bemusement, that my pretty little secretary put off choosing quarters for herself until after I had chosen mine. And then chose modest quarters as close to mine as she could, without being overtly obvious that the old catch cry of Location Location Location still held true.
But back to my new offices. Why is it that all minor factions with confederate leanings, have to broadcast this fact by plastering the old earth Confederate flag across everything. The previous masters of this domain were very definitely of the confederate leaning, judging by the curtains, the wallpapers, and almost every other surface in the suite of offices. Before leaving, I gave Tara, that's her name by the way, my pretty little secretary, Tara something-or-other, carte blanche to re-decorate the office suites. LIke our old temporary offices in Santjalan, but this time with a sense of permanence and class.
Before leaving Robson, Tara reminded me that I had an unfinished draft memo, the one about the long-term "Safer Neighbourhood" that we discussed with our leader recently. The plan to degrade and ultimately destroy all the lawless anarchy pirate factions in our neighbourhood. I suggested that if I wasn't back by the time she had the office re-decoration done, maybe she could finish it. As long as I got to read and approve it before it was sent out. After all, I was busy. There was dirty deeds to be done over in H96. And then there was dirty deeds to be done in Purungarang, helping our former foes from Alowis, the Alowis Purple Dynamic, take over there. Ironic how that ties back in to our Safer Neighbourhood plan, as we would be overthrowing the Anarchic pirate group, Purungarang Jet Dragons, and installing the much more civilised Alowis Purple Dynamic. Just a pity they're Federation. After cleaning out all the pirates and anarchists, the Feds are next on the hit list. Just don't tell them that. At least not yet.
So, better go fetch that last Clipper from Santjalan. I suppose I could use it to carry over the lads and ladettes from the Black-ops department. Must remember to leave a Sidewinder map marker there, make sure I can find my way back when I eventually have to.

Busy times indeed. Report from Naita: SEPP controls the system with 54.8% and Boom. However the admin at Bennet Camp has been a little slow with updating the latest stats according to the systems map. Those whingeing reprobates from Naita Camorra are still claiming a toehold at Bennet, the correct Management Flow chart will be posted asap. Addition to the system, Whitson now also supports a black market. SEPP missions were varied today. I ran sensitive data and smuggled illicit stuff to HR6819 and delivered materials to surface ports at Lalande. A juicy assassination mission is on for tonight. All in all a quiet session. I guess everyone is busy concentrating on tracking out of the bubble or are sleeping off the First Wave DW Expedition bon voyage party.

No change in stats as no tick yet (I do keep weird hours here). I popped over to HIP96 to see what SEPP missions available. Ran a large cargo of gold out and brought some consumer technology in. I also tried to smuggle in trade secrets but for some reason I am unable to give the 2 items to complete the mission. I recall seeing this bug elsewhere. I'll see if I can complete it next log in. I have to admit the bubble seems strangely quiet with the DW expedition out.
After relog still no luck with this one so I scanned thru the forum. It seems that this old bug is still here. There is 21 hours remaining for this mission so hopefully by then. Still no tick.

In late breaking news, we have just received the latest polling figures from your favourite backwater, that hippest of hip locations that is the one and only HIP 84696.
We are happy to report that the new kids on the block, the Social Eleu Progressive Party, have just nosed ahead of the encumbent HIP 84696 Systems at 42.7% to 40.0%.
What we do find rather surprising is that neither party has officially taken on a war pending stance as yet. Perhaps that will come in a belated press release tomorrow.
So kiddies, sit back and watch the fireworks display unfold.
Actually, mums and dads, you better send the kiddies to bed. There's likely to be far too much graphic violence for their young minds.

control directly, but indeed every system listed in our "Galactic Neighbourhood
Systems & Factions Info" sheet Safe, Prosperous, Independent, Democratic and

The first step in this program is to overthrow any and all system controlling
factions which are piratical in nature.

The second step in this program is to overthrow any and all asset controlling
factions which are piratical in nature.
Assets being any Starport or Planetary settlement.
First choice for replacement factions would obviously be any Democratic and
Independent faction which is native to the system.
Further down the line, we can start looking at repeating this process with minor
factions which are aligned with the major factions. In our neighbourhood, this
basically means the Federation.
This program, obviously, is secondary to any campaigns which involve SEPP
directly.
Specific operations will be launched when Sepp itself has nothing immediately
happening, and targetted operations will be included in Sepp operations when and
where both possible and appropriate.

I vote for (1), I'm racing at the moment in and out Pandemonium which is quite a distance from Eleu, but if I'm back in SEPP space later in the week I'll run some missions out of HIP 84696.

We can keep pushing HIP 84696, war will erupt there eventually.
Meantime, we are on an IOU to Alowis Purple Dynamic (ALPD) for them handing over Alowis so nicely. So we owe it to them to help them take over in Purungarang. Besides, getting rid of the pirates there is to our long-term advantage. Two birds, one stone, so to speak.
They are in a pointless war against another minor faction there currently, so feel free to collect combat bonds on their behalf if that is what tickles your fancy. Just be aware there are no large pads in the system.
Also, with Sepp back in boom, again, we can include a couple of nice little money spinners for those of us who've spent more on outfitting their fleet of ships than they could probably afford.

THE "PRIDE" SUFFERED A MINOR DAMAGE DURING THE FIRST 10 SECS AFTER TAKING OFF, THAT LEFT THE HULL AT 98%, AND OUR WING BROKE UP IN THE SWARM OF SHIPS JUMPING TO HYPERSPACE TO OUR FIRST WAYPOINT NEAR THE PLANETARY NEBULA "SHAPLEY 1", SOME 950 LY AWAY. AFTER HAVING LOST CONTACT WITH THE "ALBATROSS" FOR NEARLY THREE DAYS, I FINALLY RECEIVED ACKNOWLEDGE OF ITS POSITION TODAY AND AGREE TO RENDEZVOUS WITH CMDR DALGIN AGAIN IN THE SCORPII SECTOR, AS I HAVE DETOURED FROM THE MAIN FLEET TO VISIT THE V945 SCORPII CLUSTER SOME 3,500 LY FROM SHAPLEY 1.

Naita Stats: SEPP 60%, LON 23.1, POM 9.7, NC 1.5, BLI 5.7. Sepp still has a comfortable margin but missions for SEPP and against Naita Camorra againstattractive. Today there is no traffic counter info at either station (not even for me) I'll check again later. For anyone going into Naita, fill your hold with Technology... Advanced catalysers, H.E. Suits, Resonating Seperators. Good products for Whitson Colony.

After running operations out in H96, you know, that hippest of hip locations as
the news broadcasts have been referring to it, HIP 84696; anyways, so I'm
leaving there empty, and there's another system right next door, Andvaris.
It's a right haven of lowlife's and scumbags, being controlled by an anarchy
faction. But, it also has a nice spaceport, which would be profitable to trade
out of, if the pirates didn't make it too dangerous for honest trader types to
go there.
It also has a nice Independent Democracy faction. For all of the above reasons,
it has been placed fairly high on the Sepp Safer Neighbourhoods project list. So
I drop in from time to time, and run odd jobs for the good faction. Not enough
yet to rate as friendly with them, but definitely have some positive rep.
So anyways, I cruise on in, and there's no pirate activity against me. After
destroying a number of their ships previously, maybe they've decided I'm not
worth the trouble.
So I check with my contact from Andvaris Democrats, you know, the good guys I
spoke about. And boy, was he pleased to see me. Had a milk run delivery of 147
tons of gold going 20 light years away, and couldn't find a contract trader with
a big enough hold willing to take on the job, at any price. And, he'd pushed the
offer up to almost 1 1/2 million juicy credits. For the sake of getting friendly
with the guys, I would have done it for less; but I wasn't going to tell him
that.
I supervised loading up the Python, SoBaDD, myself. The dock itself was pretty
empty, save for a few dock rats. You know, the kids who hang around the docks,
hoping to scam, or outright steal, anything they can get their filthy little
hands on.
And a ship full of gold was information they could trade.
I chucked them each a handful of credits, and told them to buzz off. Suggested
the new comic book series, the Space Truckin' Adventures of Honest Trader Joe,
was a good way to spend the credits.
After counting the crates of gold three times to make sure it was all there;
been conned like that before today, I plotted a course for Sveinbarn and set
off.
Contrary to expectations, the trip truly was a milk run. 2 jumps, never
interdicted, never even tailed. And you can bet I watch that scanner like a
hawk, checking out every ship within scanner range. In the trade it's called
"situational awareness".
So, I dock, unload, check the transfer of credits for a job well done, and sit
down to plan my next move.
The next port of call on the Shenanigans Loop would have been Alowis, but it was
now on the other side of the Sepp core systems from where I was. So I figure
Mechet is my next best bet.
Laying in a course for there, I realise it takes me right past Bean Enterprise,
that other source of all things credit-worthy. I remember from yesterdays market
analysis, Gold from Bean Enterprise to Crown Ring in Mechet, where I'm going, is
nicely profitable. And 216 tons in the Python is 216 times more nicely profitable.
337,000 credits and then some, to be precise.

Naita is ticking over it seems. SEPP now 62.8%. LON 20.9, POM 9.3 (and pending boom), BLI 5.4 and NC 1.6. Lowest of all but yet hanging in to Bennet Camp. Have spent this session purely bounty hunting for those feelthy scumbags from Naita Camorra. They are persistent and at least one of them flies a Anaconda. I gave it a mild scare but my cannons ran out of ammo. I'll go looking for it with a different set of weapons. SEPP missions from Whitson are very few today in fact zilch. In Bennet I saw 2 for kidnapped targets (still bugged?) and 1 data delivery to Hansdorff Relay...130,000+ LS from the main star. For a low influence mission I do not think worth the time . More influence can be gained bounty hunting or smuggling. Perhaps if I start shooting up NC trading ships around Bennet camp which is now controlled by Naita Camorra, is that going to influence them losing control of the station or will it put SEPP's control of the system on shaky ground? I'm looking for a strategy.
Second session today was mostly all bounty hunting against Naita Camorra nasties. One thing, interdiction is working much better...I was successful in 8 out of 9. Only one failed after my screen became incredibly shaky for some reason. A good way to find the targets is to SC around the nav beacon area. A lot of traffic coming and going, more than I found inside the beacon. Traffic counter is working again. Only 7 ships thru in 24 hours. 2 Python and 3 Cobra III. I suspect all mine. Only other work I took on tonight is a surface delivery SEPP mission of water purifiers to Panshin Base in BD89 (I think). Stolen data missions are failing. Unable to finish them. With the spreading techno-plague leading the news on Galnet more and more, SEPP
leadership today issued advice that all civilian and military starships flying
