Arrived at NGC 6530 WFI 16706
.
What is your rough eta Boss , I can move towards you if needed.
.
Have sent friend request to Cmdr Olivier Vespera , just in case she is on when you was not :D
.
Fly safe and land safer.....O7

Just notified her about it... friend request must be accepted by now.. she was asleep when you contacted her...

Anyhoo...she is around the bug nebula... I am still 1,700 ly from Lagoon.. and will start heading that way tomorrow, ETA Friday.

Excellent job CMDR!! really the Galactic Pony Express!! ;-)

Cmdr Lugo Crellen,

Welcome to SEPP and thank you for joining us!! We hope you find a good galactic home in our Nation and call yoursf a proud militant of our cause in no time.

First thing you might want to do is to thoroughly scan all the 6 systems in where we are present: ELEU, SANTJALAN, ALOWIS, NAITA, MECHET and HIP 84696.

Second thing you want to do is to run some of the routes posted by Trade and Commerce Minister CMDR Adept Geraden. His input are really good to make money while knowing our markets.

Thirdly, get acquainted and familiar with our spreadsheets of econmic and political data. You don't have to add info on them, just know the information that is there so you can use them as resources for your missions and endeavors.

Fourth, once allied with SEPP you can proceed to run missions for us in HIP 84696 where we want to overthrow controlling faction.

We got from pristine metallic rings, to scientific outposts, to big starports, to Slaves...you can find it almost all within our borders...but you need to know where everything is.

Lastly but not least, join us in the SEPP's Discord Chat Server where we can meet and exchange information!!

Welcome aboard cmdr!!

May the Eleu star shine bright for you!

I've been working hard to regain the trust of the Energy Corp, I wasn't their favorite after I destroyed dozens and dozens of security patrols and trade ships during the Anaconda Rampage of 3301. I abandoned missions and stole cargo on way too many occasions and racked up a huge bounty in the process. I can report I'm now friendly and building up their trust and confidence for their eventual demise in the war to come.

As of this writing the numbers are
SEPP 67% (Down trend) and Energy Corp 17% (up trend) the number are moving towards eachother and should stablise and casue a war.... hopefully...

Made contact with Cmdr Vespera , just saying hi and that I'll be on later when Kancro is (Hopefully). No reply ,perhaps English not 1st language or comms her end broken , no probs tho :D
.
" I am still 1,700 ly from Lagoon " , if you tell me where I will be there in no time , rather eager to get back home lol.
and btw ,no need to pay me ,if you insist ,give it to one of the new comers :p
.
See you soon....Fly safe and land safer.....O7

.
p.s. This is a one way trip for me so distance no a problem.;)

State of Play.. Figures in Naita show a small shift.. increase for SEPP now 62.9 and a drop for NC 1.2. Stayed in Naita most of tonight bounty hunting. Interdictions still working well. There is no sign yet of any war pending but given the low stats of Naita Camorra you would think they will have a scrap soon with POM or BGI. Plenty more SEPP missions on the BB also. Traffic in the system is 4,,, again all mine I think as I use Mechet to re-arm.

Re: ELEU and EEC. I suspect I am still on their naughty boy list, I have yet to make an apology and grovel after the last war. I will make an appearance with cap in hand soon in order to 'assist' their cause ..giggles.

Fizz out.

@CMDR Len Ross:
You almost read my mind CMDR. I think you are of better use in the ELU operation than anywhere else at the moment. Please make yourself comfy in Finney Dock and use its shipyard for your fleet. Work in unison and contact with CMDR Red Barron. Some missions are better completed with a wingmate or two. CMDR Mango Fizz will also be in the area. Feel free to reach out to them.
Also, make sure you get familiar with our Economic and Political Spreadsheets, linked on the first post. CMDR Adept Geraden can help you with any question on them.
Welcome aboard!

@CMDR Red Barron:
Excellent News Reddie!! Keep pushing there, let's have EEC on their knees once and for all. We can't forget what they made us go through the best part of last year, and that Coup was totally uncalled for. Let's show them we haven't forgotten. And let's take them all back to our control.
Please collect information from CMDR Len Ross and I will send you his privileges for his SEPP ID card to be issued ASAP. Another request: an update on mine, as I am not flying the "Orinoco" any longer. Thanks.

@CMDR Mango Fizz:
I am not sure what are you trying to do in Mangoland....SEPP is already controlling the system, so no need to push us over 65%. Instead, we would need to match their influence to ours to take over Bennet. But in the grand scheme of things, this is not a priority at the moment. Bringing the system to a High Security levels, was. Keep bounty hunting there every now and then to raise that metrics, but also run missions for SEPP in H96, which it does indeed needs to be over 65%. Red Barron and Len Ross are taking care of ELU, let's try to be covered on the H96 front as well.

@CMDR Adept Geraden:
Please look out for the new CMDR Lugo Crellen. I haven't received any communications from him yet, but he seems to be one of yours, on the trade front. I already briefed him on a list of things to get him started but please, if you do cross paths with him, make sure he feels welcomed and guided. Appreciate it!

@CMDR Gut Rumble:
My good friend! You made it here faster than any Hyperjump! Did you buy the Heart of Gold? Geez! Thing is that I am afraid you may have done it all way too early! I am on Galactic time -5, while Olivia is on +8. By the time I get home and play, is like midnight for you. And by the time you get home and play, is like past midnight for Olivia. So you got 2 options: either catch me at the V495 Scorpii cluster -current location: NGC 6231 Sector FB-W b2-0 - I will try to log at 23:30 UTC tonight...or you wait for the weekend when we all three can convene on a time to meet in Lagoon, say Saturday, around 13:00 hrs UTC? Your call, but whatever you pick, let me know so I can coordinate with her. In the meantime, enjoy exploring... and why Self Destruct? Did I mention there are pirate activity reported in the Lagoon Nebula Sector? ;-)

Thank you all!

/Kancro Out

Am now at your location at NGC 6231 Sector FB-W B2-0 , i'll keep an eye out for you from 11pm onwards, was going to ask Olivier to meet me in either Mobius or your group chat but didn't think she would answer so thought better of it;)
.
See you soon my friend

P.S. wonder what UTC means lol

Yo! CMDR Baron Von Teapot reporting! (AKA Tea or Anxietea to friends). I know i haven't been on COMMs lately but i've actually been recruiting and training new CMDRs. I know it looks like i have disappeared off the face of the galaxy but i do check in with CMDR Kancro or CMDR Red Barron for orders. So know i have our best interests at heart and i've not gone rogue.

<3 you guys

Elue Thermals been delivered , met with Kancro and Coslany , then promptly went to Finney dock lol.:p
Here's the three of us , but who is who ;)

My ocd kicked in when I noticed that the info on the 2 ringed planets in HIP 84696 , did not tell me what type they were ,so tooled up with mining gear I had to find out lol :p
results are:
HIP 84696 1 ( the Sinclair Dock one )--Has 1 ring that I could make out and was Rocky with Minerals
.
HIP 84696 2 ( The other one lol )--Has 2 rings ,inner has the brown rocks you associate with metals , it did have metals but mainly minerals.
it had Gold ,got a rock with 34% but mainly 10-14% and was 1 in every 5/6 rocks checked
also Silver and Osmium , was found much less then Gold and in low %'s.
.
I wouldn't suggest mining there but you could if very desperate ;)
.
Ok catch you laters ( about 4/5 hours time )
.

Did you hit them with a detailed Surface Scanner ?
The first planet is pristine rocky.

No Adept I don't use a detail scanner while in the bubble , nice to see I was right in my assessment tho lol;)
.
Couldn't get back on to play as real life got in the way ( stupid thing )
.
Just out of interest , what happened to your "news flashes " Adept?....they were fun to read while out in the black , if it's because i'm back then i'll just take off again :p
.
Fly safe and land safer.....O7

In order to have a news flash, we need news. Pretty quiet on the home front right now. If we can keep pushing H96, we should have something worthy of a "news flash" soon.

I have been hovering in Naita mostly to see if I can beat the rivals (Naita Camorra) down to less than 1% influence. It would be interesting to see if they do indeed get booted out of the system. Heading now over to H96 to check out the local bar scene.

Ships Log; Personal. Commander Adept Geraden. 21:00 Hours. 23rd January 3302.

A day in the life, or in this case week, of a busy minister of state with side
projects and clandestine interests.

A week ago I decided to take a short break from affairs of state, and potter
around doing some mining in the neighbourhood's favourite little pristine.

The Python, SoBaDD, needed some down-time in the maintenance dock at Robson
Port anyway. The crew there, who are very capable, have a nice little shipyard
with Diamondbacks and various trader ships, and a reasonable supply of
outfitting items. But they didn't get much trade from their previous masters,
who preferred to fly their ships into the ground, so to speak, rather than
spend credits on repairs and hull integrity. Personally, since that ship is the
only thing between me and the deep blue sea, I mean, cold black nothingness,
I'll keep it maintained and in tip-top shape at all times. And, with the
frequency I've been getting into scraps with pirates and bandits lately, I
think they'll be fine for business for quite a while.

Since it was going to be there for a number of days, I picked out a nice shade
of blue for a repaint. Bright safety yellow is also a good colour, but I had
the mining Dropship, Lassiter's Folly, painted that colour a while back. Don't
want a fleet of ships all painted the same colour. Variety is the spice of
life, after all.

I tried really hard to get the name of the ship emblazoned down each side, but
in the end they refused. Between all the arguments back and forth, seems every
person down there on the shop floor has a different reason why it can't be
done. Near as I can figure, it boils down to one of two basic trains of
thought. One is superstition, probably promulgated by jealous land-lubbers and
starport dwellers, who will never get to fly there very own starship. Bad luck
of some sort to stick the ship's name on the outside where everyone within
firing distance of white-hot lasers can see it. The second is that it was an old
law from the days of Galcop, or Galcorp, seems so long ago no one is really sure
of the spelling anymore. Just an old law that set a precedent, that nobody has
bothered to challenge, simply because that's the way it has always been done.
Or not done, as the case may be.

Anyways, I had a nights layover in the station between switching ships. My
pretty little secretary, Tara, insisted we do dinner, since I hadn't been in
the office much lately. Over a posh-enough 3 course dinner, I managed to figure
out most of her life's story, so far. Seems her parents were farmers, of mixed
heritage. That is, refugees. One from the Empire, one from the Federation. Tara
got packed up and sent to an up-market private boarding school over in Eleu. In
those days, the area was mostly independent, before the Federation started
expanding this far out to the edge of the human bubble. Now, I ain't no fool. I
can put 2 and 2 together and get Onionhead for an answer. Farmers just don't
get to send their kids to private school by growing fruit and veg, you know.
Seems her last year at boarding school, her parents transferred a heap of
credits into her account, and a message not to come home till they contacted
her. Seems she also has a younger brother. Other than he was mad keen on space
ships, especially those sexy looking Imperial jobs, and tales of derring-do by
armed traders and bounty hunters alike, not much more information was gleaned.

Maybe we'll have to do dinner more often.

But for now, I think I need to keep Tara down to small doses only. The
similarities between her and the recently departed love of my life, The Lady
Terisa of Morgan, make me realise I'm probably not over grieving yet.

The mining was mostly Zen. Only hassled by a couple of minor wannabe pirates,
who scanned the Dropship, noted the multiple hardpoints packing serious
firepower, and decided that I wasn't the person they were seeking after all.
Case of mistaken identity, and all that. Mining is more profitable if you can
pick up contracts to supply precious metals before heading out, so long as the
faction issueing the contract is someone we want to support. In a small
population system, one of these high value contracts seems to do quite a bit for
the faction's influence. Of course, you'll almost never get these contracts when
returning from a mining mission with a hold full of the good stuff. Seems these
faction contact people are quite cunning in that regard. Why offer a premium for
something you already have, and would sell to them at going market prices
anyway?

Good Lord, look at the time. Matters of state to attend to. Memo's to the fleet
about our rapidly expanding list of previously uncharted neighbours, many of
whom have missing information to be added to the database, rumours I've gleaned
about the great Palladium shortage of 3302, and how Gold is the new Palladium,
and where to get the best deals for profitable Gold trading.

End Personal Log.

Done for the night

mission rant... i dont think FD even has testers to test its missions before they release them, just like the hostage rescue mission ... 4 minutes and you know its broken....

A Very fruitless pirate hunt.....

mission: Lawless Purung system 2 million for 63 pirates in 4 days seams reasonable... so far ill be 63 before i get 63 pirates....

belly full of gold.... no intradictions... not a single one in 2 hrs
1. SSS .... 3 battle condas.. time to leave shields striped in 15 seconds....
2. SSS .... 5 T9 transport
3. SSS .... 3 battle condas again
4. USS.... 3 T9 transport and t6.
5. SSS .... 3 battle condas
6. SSS .... 5 sytem authoriuty...
7. SSS .... yep 3 condas again...
8. Beacon .... 2 pirates oh joy...
9. SSS .... 5 system authority (not sure why in a lawless system as they don't do anything other than watch pirates kill every one), 6 pirates 2 condas and rest vipers and such all firing at me at once while the sys authrity watches
9. Distress call finally a pirate magnet....nope.... system authority.... killed it fit of rage! because its a lawless system with no PIRATES!

Triple S's are intended to be tackled by wings of players. They're generally acknowledged to be suicide zones for lone players.

true.... but i had no major issues in the past with SSS in a conda, i was able to handle them for pirate hunts in a lawless system, now it seems the pirates are top richest 1% flush with cash and fly A class anacondas and vipers. They have better ships now than most ruling factions in the CZ, where a biggest ship is a ASP or a Python, but the pirates have anacondas everywhere???? seems a bit off.

Well, the pirates in Purungarang are the current ruling faction. I would expect that yes, they are rich pirates.

The only thing constant around here, is change.

MEMO: To all SEPP allied Commanders.

Ongoing operations in Mechet to wrest control of Crown Ring from Partnership of Mechet are rapidly coming to a head.
Overnight polling figures show a massive jump of 10.4%. Sepp now stand at 53.9%, whilst POME have climbed to 38.5%, a difference of only 15.4%.
Those commanders operating in the area should please continue doing whatever it is they are doing. Other commanders are encouraged to join in, running missions for POME.

If operations continue as they are, we should see conflict erupt within the week, at the latest.

Remember guys, combat bonds are like incest. Fun for the whole family.
