STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS.

Greetings to all Sepp Allied commanders, and interested friends.
Given that our "Glorious and Fearless" (Copyright, TM, Patent Pending, etc) Leader is away on the Distant Worlds Expedition, and is otherwise engaged with running proceedings there, I thought I would take this short opportunity to address you all on the state of our glorious nation.
Kpaniya.
Unless you've been hiding under a rock somewhere for the last 24 hours, you should be aware that Sepp have expanded into this system. Whilst not a spectacular system, it is a step in the right direction.
I would expect war to erupt here shortly, between Sepp and the anarchy faction, Kpaniya Blue Posse.
We need to run missions here as a priority to boost our influence above our entry level floor position of 9.3%.
Mechet.
We have been working hard here to reach parity with Partnership of Mechet, to trigger conflict for control of the outpost, Crown Ring.
It would appear that the Polling Company's computer system has finally caught up with reality, with POME just edging ahead of us in the polls.
We should now cease operations in this system, hold parity, and wait for conflict to erupt.
HIP 84696.
Having expanded into this system recently, we still need to push ahead with our influence. We need to push through the current ceiling of 60%, and pass 65% to trigger conflict for control of the lone outpost, and the system.
Naita.
With our influence now surpassing 70%, and the evil Camorra at 1 point something percent, we can call this system ours. Pirate activity has been minimal here for some time now.
Longer term, I would like to see this as our preferred point to expand from, and push towards the edge of the inhabitated bubble. At some point in the future, colonisation of previously empty systems will become possible. Lets make Sepp a prime mover in expanding the human bubble.
I, personally, have been busy visiting systems in our neighbourhood, extolling the virtues of getting their commodity markets hooked into the Galactic Trade Network. This will encourage trade, which leads to wealth for everyone, them and us. Most have been keen on the idea, though I suspect will require my personal help to keep their data updated. A few Industrial Outposts point blank refused to join the party. I will have to re-visit them at some point in the future, and try again.
In these travels, I have uncovered many more systems in our neighbourhood, that I have now added to our neighbourhood tracking spreadsheet. There are also some new systems within 30 Ly's of the new systems we have recently expanded into. Many of these have missing data, so please feel free to help out.
Safer Neighbourhood Program.
I recently kicked off this program as a secondary side project. Part of our mandate is democracy and freedom for all. To this end, we want to support Independent Democracies in our neighbourhood, and topple any and all anarchy factions in our neighbourhood. I have been highlighting these factions in the aforementioned spreadsheet. Please make yourself aware of these factions, and help out by running missions, especially if another mission for Sepp takes you to one of these systems. When things are quiet and stable in the Sepp home systems, I will populate the shenanigans loop with systems and factions under this program.
In closing, I would to thank all those commanders involved in the black-ops resupply mission, especially our friends from the Fuel Rats who pitched in and helped. If you missed this one, sorry it's hush-hush and I can't tell you.
