Patch Notes September Update - Downtime and Patch Notes

I see you're fixing slf lag, but it doesn't exactly have a use when on ps4 multicrew works maybe half the time. Normally I get a glitch where I'm in the host's seat with a broken HUD (and the ship still moves) and when that happens, launching a fighter leads to an instant disconnect. Rejoining doesn't help and it does the same. Really annoying.

I was thinking the same thing and also, shouldn't it have been programmed to select the fastest or healthiest connection instead of simply switching to a wire if one is present?
I do hope this is the case. My hardline connection can not run Elite due to a mix of the restrictions put up on my network by the University admins and the network coding of Elite. The only way I can play the game is to use a mobile data tethered connection - and so if this is the case it's blocked me out of the game for good.
 
My entire CODEX is empty...…….. They really jumped the shark on this one......

I think the problem is a LOT of paintjobs are missing. When I look at me ASP Ex I see the ones I own ( and can remember ) and only one other set of paint jobs - but I'm 99% sure the ASP Ex had a lot more paint jobs than that!

When I go to the store in game and change ship to Fed Gunship is show no paint jobs at all - even though I own the Midnight Black one!
 
ABOUT STORED ENGINEERED MODULES:

I've took a shield boost and moved to a ship.
It showed as engineered, but with vanilla stats.
I've left to main menu and back in game and the boost is showing the right modification when it's in this ship.
I've stored it again and it shows without modification.

DON'T SELL YOUR MODULES, MIGHT BE SOMETHING VISUAL ONLY!
 
Sounds like it is a good thing I'm tearing this machine down tomorrow to start on the new one. By the time Billy Gates gets all his stuff working on it I figure the patch patch will be patched and I'll be ready to fly...say...Sunday?
