Did you really mean "days" ? Not years?

It's been like this every weekend for quite a long time. FD still doesn't anticipate weekend load and ramp up the AWS demand algorithm for weekend load. This has been going on for so long that I never plan on weekend play. Certainly don't take timed missions unless you enjoy not getting them done on time.

Edit: Guess no playing while downloading movie. Can't really imagine the connection issues, if this game really succeeds and there are nearly as many players as EvE. From my own self interest, in the ability to play, I hope ED does not get that big.

If that's true, then it's unacceptable.
My time is limited, I'm lucky to have some time right now to play, and right now am waiting for someone to change out the dead hamsters for live ones.

My whole internet is not suffering, but ED does suffer each sunday, end of year or not...

EDIT : and it's not even sunday today (!)

Server is now showing 'issues', so lets hope that FD are working on the problem. I'm just glad the problem arose just before I took on a bunch of missions rather than after I took those missions as those mission timers would be ticking town.:eek:

the internet is working just fine, as is any other AWS I checked on, FD's servers however are not :(

This ( server issues ) has been happening for the last <insert large number of months here> or haven't you noticed?

One problem with your logic (good as it appears) 1.5 is working fine, no lag, no losses, no problems. I don't think excess online users explains that.
