Servers?

Most of the time it's not even a server problem. It's junk ISP's being cheeky or traffic partnerships shoving every UDP packet onto the cheapest ISDN interposer they can find :D

Don't forget some crackers or other trying a DDOS attack on something and the increased traffic is causing other router problems.

For those of us that have to work with the guts of the Internet all these things are obviously but most people forget that the Internet is a web and you can't pull on one part of the web without it affecting large parts of the rest of the web.

It's way too easy for those without the knowledge and experience to say "it's the developers fault" or "it's rubbish game and the company should never have sold it in such a state" when the fault is not with the game at all.

Oh well, I'm glad that I have little or no contact with users these days.
