Set condition Mauve... The Hutton Mug CG looks like it is live....

Managed to join a wing on the 8:30 convoy from Wolf 424 - was live on Hutton Radio.

Thanks for the company, was a fun trip!

Another shot from the Radio queue, listing some CMDRs present

Got some excitement when the ship behind me bumped my backside and set some celebratory fires off in my cockpit!

Good news - CMDR Vann made it back from his 6 month journey just to join us. He has travelled 11,000ly in the last couple of days and made it to the pad just minutes ago.

He may have forgotten how to land - indeed, how to drop his landing gear, but he is safely down and with months of exploration data sold.

Welcome home!

That was the very best fun I have had on here since The fight for Lugh tbh. Bum twitching time entering Alpha Centauri, then bum twitching time nearing Hutton. All in all though, no dramas. 4 trips and not a tonne dropped off.

Has anyone actually tested the 'one hit and you're dead' part?
IIRC the hull integrity at 0% should only reduce the ship's hull hitpoints to roughly 2/3 of hull integrity 100% value...

I had a go in my python (18 trips to Hutton, no repair), not quite 1 hit and dead but I would avoid emergency drop outs near planets, they cost, griefing bloody planets, and no I didn't overshoot, I saw a pirate lord with 24 vultures chasing me, I meant to loop back, the planet moved into my way.

Humpf, anyway load 19 inbound, I am going to give > 5k before close, sheet these CG things should carry a health warning

For anyone interested, I'm in Yan Musu, leaving for LHS 380, 12 jumps, about 15 minutes, then heading for Alpha Centauri for another run. I'm flying with my armed Python. I'm on US East Coast.

EDIT: Now on my way. 0.22ly to go. Listening to Hutton Orbital. Only one other commander, slightly ahead of me in an Asp.

For the mug!

2 runs only on a Cobra, but fine fun. And a shout to Cmdr Ophidious, a proper gent and mutual escort on the approach.Screenshot_0026.jpg

I was hoping to make one last run tomorrow but unfortunately RL has gotten in the way and I won't have the time:(

If I can I'll pop in and help any large ships in the area to unload, although once we hit tier 4 I doubt there'll be many of those.

My 1200 tons will have to stand (probably firmly back in the 30% zone with that by tomorrow - if not already).

gave some scrap out made new friends had great fun hope to be in the next one . and thanks .

Just loaded up with fuel at Al-Din and heading out with another 36 tons.

It's .22 light years to Proxima Centauri, we got a full tank of gas, 36 tons of scrap, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Update: again, at about 20 minutes out, connection to the server lost. That's 5 out of 5 times. Must be some kind of record for consistency. At least this instance is empty. Wonder what's at the other end of this pipeline?

17 runs in the last two days, 23 total since the CG began. I'm done for the day and going to bed!

Soooo close to Tier 3 I can taste it.

I do plan to get 2 or 3 more runs in tomorrow afternoon just before the fat lady sings. :)

4560 delivered (19 runs) and I am almost as beat as my Python.

Thanks to the Hutton radio crew, not sure how you managed to send me caffeine via voip, but it worked, kept me awake and addicted ;):D.

32 mins out with load #20, and rearranged tomorrow evening to ensure I get past 5k scrap delivered. This delivery will have to wait until tomorrow though its way too late (again).

Had a few hours so I bought an Asp, kitted her out and went with a scrap load.

Collected some rares while there and also picked up 1.6 million in Federation bounties I was owed. Good trip.

Shoutout to CMDR CrYoN.

Upon getting within about 100ls from the station, I started receiving threats that "The Code" was blockading Hutton Orbital. I dropped from hyperspace and switched to Solo. Delivered my 192 tons of scraps. I then switched back to Open. Watching the live feed and there seems to be some action going on but I can't see anyone on my radar. Not sure how I can try to switch instance.

Went to supercruise, was ambushed by a wing of 4. Couldn't get away, lost my Python.

Beware!

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm about 15 minutes out. Watching the live feed now. Odd that the station doesn't seem to be firing back at the moment.

Addendum: System authority vessel sure seems to be shooting a lot but not sure if it's having any real effect or not.

And they just killed the cameraman again. Nice. 8 minutes out, non-essential systems and shields back on-line.

A shame. I would have joined a wing to beat the s... out of them but one against 4 is not a very good proposition.

Don't do what I did, aim for another system when leaving Hutton, don't try to go supercruise.
