Same thing happened to me about an hour ago. As I said in another thread, the first PvP encounter I've had which left a bad taste in the mouth.

Dropped out of SC behind the planet and then back to SC slowly, dropped out around 900Km and now just hitting the afterburner. No contacts at the moment, might be a quiet instance (if I'm lucky).

I was lucky. Just 25 minutes of hitting the afterburner over and over but it was just me in this instance.

Sad for those pirates - that line just keeps on climbing up higher and higher in spite of their most gleeful efforts. I'd say they failed in their objective.

Nah, they got their attention. Win for them, we mention them online. Real Pirates give you a choice and communicate their orders. These guys can't even spell.

Thank you CMDR... I have a bit of a nest egg saved up. Any recommendations on an upgrade from an Adder to a similarly flexible craft with more hauling capability?

Don't fee too bad about it. Just make sure you keep 2 or 3 times insurance in the bank. Realistically you have no chance against a wing of pirates unless you are in a wing yourself.

That depends on your budget....

The Type-6 will haul around 100t depending on configuration.

This build costs about 1.4M Cr. (undiscounted).

I am still trying to find my place in the Elite universe I tend to jump around betweeen cargo hauling, bounty hunting, and exploring. Is a T6 a ggod choice for that kind of game play?

I have about 3 mil saved up currently...

The Type-6 is a nimble wee hauler - upgraded thrusters would give it a better chance of escape if interdicted. It's no combat ship though....

No, the T6 is a pure cargo hauler, that's it. I'd suggest a Cobra or Asp, depending on your budget, Cobra is only a few hundred thousand, Asp is 6 million, base model prices.

I'd recommend going hauling and exploring with the T6 and get either a Viper for bounty hunting or a Cobra for exploring, bounty hunting and missions for now.
