Had a blast last hour or so, after I unloaded my cargo.
Me and several (dozen) others lurked around the station- Hutton Militia! One of the Commanders named us, after an Eagle kept repeatedly spawning, weaving among the station girders, and firing its 3 railguns at any idle and easy targets- like a Type6. Boooo! We became committed- on the lookout for any eagles on the contacts, spotters calling out "Eagle!" on chat to set the Wolves loose- fangs out!
There were landing pad blockaders as well, but my Fer De Lance and an Anaconda became rather adept at prying them off of the pad, and boosting them clear- those pointy noses helped.
I was Kill Warrant scanning the flotilla in the quiet times between the Eagle spawns, and fount some interesting bounties- but did not act upon them. "mymy! 1.2 million" I would text the clipper, "smuggling

" he replied back. "No judgements unless you open fire upon a helpless toaster box or something" and left him alone.
Towards the end of the "tour of duty" that I volunteered myself into, a wing of three large ships arrived: an Anaconda, a Python, and a third to the wing I couldn't ID. They announced something officious like "this station is under blockade by the Core... yadda yadda yadda." (I dunno I stopped reading after the word CORE)
Shortly before our flotilla opened fire, I replied in local "how NICE of them to put a NAME to our targets!" The Anaconda (the named one) was obliterated rather humorously at the focus of many a laser and railgun beams (funny how that id'd the target so effectively among all pilots so quickly), and I personally hounded the fleeing Python down. Its shields tried to stay up, but it went boom rather quickly (Python trying to outrun a Ferdy- lul). The other ship got away. In the aftermath, I noted I was now wanted (must have shot the station once or twice..), and with that, left Hutton Orbital behind me for the foreseeable future.
After I left It dawned on me that I might have to return to... collect my mugs.
All in all; good times, good camaraderie, laughs and gratuitous violence throughout. \
Goofball eagles trying to poach helpless targets, ships bellyflopping across landing pads, a cobra docked on one and refusing to logout or hangar himself, even Core blockade action trying to impose.. I dunno what they were about other than legitimate targets- regardless, great fun throughout!
I would dare say it was the other player "griefing" antics that made it quite so interesting! Of course, The fact we had a community presence there that made short work of any griefers helped our mood considerably.
