I don't know, they wouldn't let me dock (story of my life where decent bars are concerned!).

On my way out to the new Guardian sites I noticed that New Growth asteroid base in the Pencil Nebula was kinda on the way and figured I might as well swing buy for a quick look.
OK Lance - rejoice - I have finally re-organised the Megaships section.
Megaships are now sorted by name (or class where there is no name).
I've ignored leading "The" for sorting.
I've removed any obvious duplicates (combining their lists of citations and images where appropriate).
I've added queries in red for those where I'm not 100% sure if they are duplicates or not (some investigation needed now).

I wouldn't say it's been replaced - they are/were around different planets. The asteroid ship has either been deleted (like the dredgers) or it's moving and nobody's re-discovered it yet (my money is on the former). I'm only 87LY from Gateway so could check it out if necessary but I don't think there's any need. Up to you if you remove it from your list or just add a note.
I'm fairly certain these are different ships. The two systems are 900+LY apart. The Canonn website lists both https://canonn.science/codex/thomas-class-bulk-cargo-ship/. The one that was at Bilfrost (moving) must be ZKR-105.
As for the other two duplicates I will check those out, no ETAs, no guarantees
I've struck it out and added note that it's gone.
Yup - having looked at the Canonn site and compared screenshots that was my conclusion too. I've now added the ZKR-105 identification.

I found a semi-secret surface installation in the pencil sector, i.e. it shows up on your nav panel once you get within 1000ls
Pencil Sector GW-W c1-47 9 a // Louis' Rest
Pictures:
It looks like a normal surface base as found throughout the bubble, however at the data point terminals I heard something what could be distorted voices. Well, something for the Canonn folks to figure out

I visited Louis' Rest - apart from the oddity of it being there at all, I wasn't able to discover anything further - I didn't hear any voices and scanning all the data terminals / comms arrays didn't produce any obvious result.
There's a cargo handling terminal but sadly it didn't shower me with riches when I'd hacked it. Although it would probably turn out they're shipping scrap and biowaste.
None of the other planets in the system have similar bases (at least, not ones that show up in the nav panel when you get within 1000 light seconds) - I will base myself out of New Growth and have a poke around the Pencil Nebula area.

Looks like there are at least 27 new dockable megaships in the game now, thanks to Detention Centres. The wiki has the only list I could find, and I'm not sure if it's complete yet: http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Detention_Centre
Almost all are scattered around the bubble in uncharted systems, except for three: The Penitent (Pleiades), The Quarry (California Nebula), and Odin's Crag (near Colonia).
Also, the 3.0 patch notes mentioned a new, mobile prison ship somewhere between the bubble and Colonia. I think it's a non-dockable type (Alcatraz, Bellmarsh, or Riker class), not another Detention Centre, which means it won't show up in system maps and could prove to be a challenge to locate. If anyone's traveling that way, keep an eye out. I'm hoping it'll be in one of the nine outpost systems along that route.
