Shipyards on the way to Colonia

I wish the planetary bases and asteroid bases between the bubble and Colonia or elsewhere far from the bubble had shipyards. Not for selling ships, but for storing ships there.
It would be nice to be able to transfer specialized ships (not combat) to these places. You then fly with a long range ship there and hop into a small short range exploration vessel.
I was thinking about scanning complete nebula with a small and nimble ship.

Or you swap ships along the way home like in a relay.

Some asteroid bases do actually have shipyards, but generally not on the way to Jaques. There's Hell Port near the Seagull nebula, there's the Orion Nebula Tourist Centre, New Growth near the Pencil nebula, and I guess the new planetary base (which has a shipyard) at the California nebula also counts. The only one of these that's far enough for unexplored systems to be quite close by is Hell Port though, and it's pretty much in the opposite direction that you're looking for.

I can already see the new racing trend! Relay races from the Bubble to Colonia (or back). Change a ship every 5 000 ly!

Shipyards en route would be cool. Maybe as Colonia continues to expand FD will entertain the idea of letting some of these outposts grow enough to warrant a shipyard.

Or perhaps these mega-ships could come into play: there could be a mega-ship or two that plies a regular route between the Bubble and Colonia, and you could schedule it to transport your ship to an outpost of your choice.
