The biggest problem for Cmdr's with long hair is going be keeping it out of the way. I'd assume almost everyone working in 0g and with extreme acceleration in all directions possible, would get their hair cut short.

Insurance Claim Form: Reason for accident - Hair in the way. Didn't see oncomming T9, but don't I look purdy?

Also it'll get tangled in your remlock and you'll die in space feeling very silly.

Not quite there yet but my "holo me" is quite close to me. With a few more things to touch you could make your own image almost 100% accurate. Very impressive job by Frontier, they need to add more hairstyles, beards and some other minor details tho.

I put a "cyber eye" in the right eye because I see less from that eye in real life so it was a nice touch.

For the love of all that's good, why oh why can't we have facial expressions that reflect the nature of each person. You know, a range, both negative and positive.

They all look one of the following
Bored rigid
Suicidal
Resigned to imminent immolation
They are waiting for a DHL timeslot delivery
They are on their way for root canal
Grimly determined to a. Kill someone b. Eat beetroot

Could we have expressions such as

Looking forward to a rare steak
Getting news of their lost kitten being found
Quiet confidence and competence in the midst of a major disaster
Reassuring someone about the great odds of their lost kitten being found
