Show us your commander!!

I think I was able to reproduce my beta server avatar (my portrait) fairly accurately:

pretty much what i came up with in he first 30 mins of update.

Even though i have added 'age' some some angles, i still look 12 :(

Adding more age would make me look to old for my RP (35 ish), from the front view. maybe its the short hair

Yep, that's me right down to the stubble. Or as close to me as I'm going to get. Cheers to FDev for listening and lightening up the complexion of their "medium dark". Though they really need to add about 10 more shades of brown. I'm a few shades lighter than this, but I'll take what I can get.

This is me for now.

I couldn't do Booga at all.
Actually the reason for my whole "Long Hair" campaign is that long hair is a milestone on the way to long ears and the full 3303 post human "I identify as a drunken kangaroo and you should support me through my kangaroo hormone therapy and surgery."

Anyway I'm okay with identifying with this guy for now.
I wish you could double up scars - the throat one shown here suits this bloke. But I've had to put on a mouth scar from that time Brett C glassed me for mouthing off at Dingwall.

I like a scar, but so many people pick the spectacular left eye scar. I call it the "noob scar" - you get it from the drop down machete storage locker on the left side of the door on the sidewinder. De Lacey were going to do a recall, but the Sirius cyborg eye company was a major shareholder so you'll be seeing lots more CMDRs with their left eye gouged and a cheap implant put in.

Bringing a new meaning to the phrase: "Check out the obvious implants on that skag."

Laugh lines.
I would pay like £8 for laugh lines.

Also the green on the gloves of the Concilliator flight suit is a shade too neon.
Can we get it bumped a few points towards khaki or olive?

MAGISTRATE: The other new arrival has considered you unreachable but now is realizing this has changed. The factors in her favor are youth and strength, plus unusually strong female drives.

Typical, just like when you get a Drivers License photo taken, I manage to take the picture just when my Commander's eyes are closed :p.

Chicks dig scars.

I really like your character. He gives me the impression of an Adama-type, looks like he's been through Hell and back, twice. Not just in charge of a single person ship but in charge of a fleet. You've captured the look of "experience". o7

And yes, a smile option, even a snerky grin, would be nice.

Don't know if I will change it significantly in the near future.

P.S. Anyone noticed how avatars disappear when jumping between systems now? It can be a bit disconcerting when playing in VR.

Yes, it's been noted and I believe a few dozen bug reports have already been made about it. Not quite positive but I believe if you have NOT made an avatar, it doesn't happen; it's only AFTER you do it that this occurs (but not 100% sure about that).
