Show us your commander!!

Here's my first try at me. But I may go "different" later.

:D

EDIT: Added a real-me for comparison. I see the tweaks I need to try and do to improve the likeness. And that's what Friday night is for :D

I even have an actual scar under my lower lip - not quite as prominent though. Would be amazing if the scars were more customisable!

Thats really close! Slightly longer chin and it could be your waxwork. Great job, make sure you screenshot those settings.

Edit... Not that i mean you've got a long chin more that its a slightly different shape to whats in game! It's one of the closest likenesses I've seen.

This is about the closet I could get, no photos to compare apart from my work pass or passport.

Urgh lovely, didn't realise I looked so much like Rowan Atkinson - really need to grow a beard again

Interesting. So it looks like in game characters are using the new character gen system too?
I reckon.

I wish the devs would post something that wasn't dismissive of the long hair problem.

"Not happening" for reasons that amount to "meh - not important enough".

Frontier have done really well on gender and race. They haven't paid "lip-service" to the principles of equality, they've just put a good mix of gender, age, origin and occupation into the game.

At some level I expect that we might not get a "statement" but hopefully we see some change before too long.

Here's an interesting one: the survival game Rust randomizes your race and gender. "Here you are - deal with it"

Is "balance" making things work for most of your players (blokes)?
Or is it making things work for the edge cases and the core will be happy too?

I dunno.
Just ignore me and go back to posting pictures of your hot short haired CMDRs and saying "BowChickaWow" and "I would, wouldn't you?" And "I tried to make her look like Seven of Nine but the options weren't there."

Can we get some options around cup sizes?

They always have been.

The engine behind the commander generator has undergone two public releases in the form of portrait generation (2.1 and 2.2), with incremental improvements in each release. This is entirely fitting with the iterative development approach that FDev have taken, as there is a lot of public feedback on the changes.
