Hell I earn around 14,000 (pounds UK) and even I can't afford those setups. I would love to create a proper cockpit complete with overhead mounted projector for the screen. If only ED would make it possible to use two touch screen tablets USB'd to the PC for the side panels, it would be perfect. The whole setup using my existing PC I'd imagine would cost around 1K or 2K to make with a good ultra wide screen projector.

I've since moved to my 40" Philips TV for my primary display. The 4th monitor you see in the pic is now my secondary for browsing the forums whilst I do my trade runs (Working on "Preparing for Deployment" CE in my Type-6 right now). My Saitek is bolted to a board and sits in my lap while I sit on my couch. The cats prefer the new setup .

When I'm using the computer for something else I move the small table out of the way and the HOTAS behind my screens. No use for the second screen ATM so I mostly keep it off and out of the way while flying.
Really need to get a 3rd screen some day, would fit perfectly on the table. Sadly that would also mean upgrading my computer.
And the odd pedals under the table:
Looks like a pile of scrap plywood... and that's pretty much what it is
Had an old cheap logitech driving wheel with HORRIBLE pedals. So I made a new base for them and surprisingly they are pretty decent now. Made the plate really big because the pedals are very light and sensitive so it's easier to make small adjustments by only using my toes.
