Just to keep things flowing....I added a 2.8" LCD screen (left side of panel-above MFD), a LCD character display (right side of panel-above MFD), and 8 RGB LEDs (4 above each of the previously mentioned displays). This is the sort of thing I am aiming to do with my office chair, mount the X55 to the armrest in a similar way.

So true. That x55 pair that I have is pretty much unusable on table. Bolted it on extra pair of armrests and now I just swap them on when it's time to do some flying.

Multi monitor setups are fantastic but the warping on the sides just takes me out of the immersion. Can't wait for Nvidias simultaneous multi-projection!

I do love my own multi monitor set up with TrackIR...

But I'm deeply into the HTC Vive. The ship cockpits are just awesome, the radar screen is about the size of a medium coffee table and the side menu's are around the 32" tv size! I sometimes try to touch them but there's nothing there, or I brush against something that isnt there?! I'll be keeping the multi monitors for other games, and the multi tasking possible. Also if you have a Vive try out the Virtual Desktop app, and use it to watch videos in a massive cinema!
