Show Us Your Setup

I sometimes try to touch them but there's nothing there, or I brush against something that isnt there?!

That's the great thing about VR. I remember the first time I watched the GF fly a Sidewinder in the DK2 - she was all "oooh!" and trying to reach for things in empty air :)

Yes, I know it's an iMac...please, be gentle.

27" iMac (late 2013)
Picked up a Saitek X-52 pro throttle from ebay on the cheap.
The joystick is a Thrustmaster T16000M
They both work together like a charm.

Just thought I'd show an update on my rig:
So this is a few months ago.
Things to note: the chair disengages from the desk to let the family use the telly.

Next thing that's worth noting is the button boxes.
These are basically a keyboard controller so the number pad is the keyboard numberpad. The lights are Num lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock. The switches underneath the lights are Control, Alt and Shift.

The tablet additions are awesome, Commander... can I ask what power grids those are? I'd like to set one up right now :D

Thanks! I added links to the original post. Those are custom grids I made myself. Here's a link for my one tablet setup. The old binds can be a bit funny and the shortcut keys need to be reworked. But you can use this as a basis for your own grid if you want.

ASUS Maximus VIII Hero Motherboard
CPU i7 6700k
GTX 980
G19 Keyboard offset to the left (angled) for thruster control
Aus 144hz 27in Screen
Razer Megalodon headset, ( just using the mic )
Logitech 502 mouse
Logitech speakers surround , back speaker on stands
3dpro Logitech , with Joy curvers , works well
Tablets , to run apps, allows me to leave my PC in full screen

lol, you guys are fancy. I'm just a pleb with cheap joysticks plugged into a computer with a TV as a monitor. I would literally be embarrassed to throw a picture up.

Custom Power-Grid controls: 3 x Nexus 7 tablets (my one tablet Power-Grid)
HOTAS: Saitek X52 Pro

I'm really intrigued by those power grid controls on the nexus tablets-- do they only work with the roccat keyboard?
that to me solves very elegantly the problem of not having a custom control setup and not devoting my office to a custom6 built sim..

No need for special keyboards. You just run the Roccat server software on your PC and the tablet apps connect via Wi-Fi. There's a thread for Power-Grid here.

I cannot believe I never heard of this. That's amazing.. I have at least a dozen nexus 7" tabs hanging around.. now I have a use for them :)
