I believe we need a short range shuttle craft for larger vessels with fighter hangers capable of landing on planets and small stations. It would make it a lot easier to find stations with the things you need or to turn in missions on smaller stations that larger ships can’t land at. The shuttles may even have minor weapons and poor maneuverability so they can defend themselves but not be as effective as a fighter. With a small cargo space of even 4t would be a game changer. Shuttles throughout many space shows and movies have been an important part of space exploration. They could have limited outfitting for surface scanning or mining equipment or could even replace the SRV for gathering materials. A duel fighter hanger could fight both a shuttle and a fighter so you wouldn’t have to decide on which one to take or leave.
I don’t feel as though having a shuttle would break the game but it could make things a lot more interesting and easier.
