Fiction Simple question about a character in Reclamation. [SPOILERS]

The character Luko. I noticed he doesn't speak English too well, and am trying to work out what kind of heritage he has. Spanish, Italian... Not too good on my ethnicity. Was hoping someone knows.

Hmm. Fair dinkum. As a follow-up question, do you know what language the name of his Cobra is, and the word "signorina"? (spelling?)

I agree with BromeTeks that in 3303 people wouldn't care about Earth's old countries. But in the back of my head I seem to remember that Luko was called Italian in one of the books.

Luko was named after an Italian taxi driver that Drew once knew.

I lot of the language he uses points to Italian.
Bella Principessa is the name of his Cobra. "Beautiful Princess" in Italian, and a picture drawn by Leonardo da Vinci.
