I'd prefer access to an exclusive ship personally; but I'll take a new paint job. It'll save me from buying one for my cutter I'll purchase after the CG is complete.

Where's mine and/or when's it coming. I bought Horizons and wasn't told about it. Do I have to fly to Hutton orbital to get it like with the free Anaconda so many commanders were promised.
If it ain't coming then do I get an Odyssey discount like in the OP's overly wishful thinking.
And don't forget how they punished us by not giving us immediate access to all ships, engineers, and a couple upkeep-free fleet carriers to boot! While also punishing us by allowing too many fleet carriers to be in a system at once! PUNISHED!

Newly released games or expansions don't get a discount until months post-release.
No more exclusive ships. Locking content away from the majority of the player base is not something we should encourage in any way, shape, or form.
