Skimmer kills registering 2 to 1 . Clearly its is not as intended.

In 2.4 for a time, what you say was not the case, except under a certain unusual circumstance which I never did manage to put my finger on (some kills stacked to completely different bases and factions for no apparent reason).

I didn't know this happened with skimmers, can't say I ever saw it, but it wouldn't surprise me, it did happen with data point scan missions, in that sometimes you scan one, and a mission for elsewhere completes, meaning you have to leave the planet and come back to the same one again. This was still happening in 3.0.1 but it doesn't always happen and I don't know if it still can after 3.0.1.

The mission system will register a kill to one eligible mission per faction.

This is an intended feature and has been in the game since 2.4.

This is not specific to skimmer missions.

It also makes sense, and it is more fun.

Superb news! Now I can try a new idea. Wing up with a ton of missions. Player with missions uses srv to attract skimmers & wing mate tosses some dumbfires from above.. Then hand in and rotate.

I demand 8 skimmer kills should count as 1 confirmed skimmer kill for any faction.
Only if allied to said faction for at least 4 weeks.
And only if they were destroyed on the dark side of a planet during its third orbit of its main body on any given week.

Also only 1 skimmer should spawn from that base per instance.

Otherwise its just open to credit farming.

Can't see how it's a bug. This is how:

Osama bin Laden blew out WTC.
Faction 1 (US Gov) issued bounty for 1 terrorist
Faction 2 (NATO) issued bounty for 1 terrorist
I picked both missions, terminated the target per missions requirements (terrorist 1/1)
And only one faction acknowledges that while other refuses still claiming I didn't fulfill their contract?

Ofc, granted that every skimmer mission was aiming for the same place, single kill should count toward completion of every mission taken.

I see no issue here. You want realism? This is realism. Argue about what the missions pay per faction I suppose but the kills counting toward multiple missions is not a flaw to me.
