SLI Support?

No, besides I don't think the 1080s do better for double precision computing that I'm aware of (which MilkyWay@home makes use of). Either way, it wouldn't be much of an upgrade. I'm not worried so much about game performance (I just do 1080p 60 FPS) as the other tasks I can run on my cards.

I asked the same question already at a different thread. Got 2x 980 Ti in my rig and it would be great to know.
And answers like "SLI is stupid, makes no sense, micro studdering, problems, why dont u buy xyz instead" are just nonsencical and not rly helping...

Any official answer would be great !! :)

So the question is simple: SLI SUPPORT -> YES / NO !? ANSWER: YES / NO ?!

So, on another thread I created Brett commented saying that we will know the recommended requirements "shortly before or on JW's release" so I assume we will also know at that time if there will be sli support. Also, I think there is reason for SLI to be supported as Nvidia seem to be following this game on their youtube channel but I guess that's a long shot. :)

OK, some sort of relevant news at least then. Fingers crossed. :) Cheers for the info.

To be honest, this is one of my main concerns for getting the game (silly as it might seem to some), since I do a lot more than just gaming on my main PC. Now if I can just get the pre-order deluxe bonus stuff knowing if SLI works, that'd be great. ;)

I pre ordered the moment it was unlocked at steam. So i will play it anyway. It would be just the tipp of the i.

Hey, Brett. Any word back yet? Haven't pulled the trigger, but I'm seriously considering doing so at or before launch for the extra skins.

Some of the updates for Elite: Dangerous haven't had support for a while and then do later on, so it may just be a matter of them not having gotten around to it yet. But yeah, it doesn't bode well not having it for release.
