Slugsies ED Diary and Log app

As far as I know the DLL and code I've used should be fairly generic to all Logitech LCDs, but I have no way of knowing without access to another Logitech LCD.

I'd love a G13 but can't really justify the cost right now unfortunately. How do you like it, and how useful is it for games like ED?

I have an X52 - non Pro, so I did look into that. Unfortunately it doesn't seem possible with the non Pro model. I don't want to upgrade as then I will lose the ability to use the MFD buttons in game. But again, if you want to donate an X52 Pro I can have a go. :D

I will give it a try later when I get home. I got the G13 out of retirement the other night as I am thinking of using the little joystick thingy that it has got for thrusters and some of the keys for a few other things. I have a Warthog which has a small 4 way hat suitable for thrusters but it's not the same as having analogue control. Makes the difference in a landing rather than an arrival. :)

+1 for this and other tools like this will be invaluable and really add to the whole experience. It would be great if FD could add a section for such threads so they are all in one place, which would also recognise the OP's contribution.

Am remotely downloading this to try out later. Any chance of getting it to log stations docked at as well as systems travelled?

Not automatically I'm afraid as there is no way to find that out legitimately. However you can add a 'Stations' Entry Type on the Diary page, and then type in the station name to add it to the log.

At some point in the future I'll be adding the ability to catalog stations (maybe with integration into whatever the EDDN comes up with), so on first visit you would enter as much station info as you wanted, then on subsequent visits you could just select the station from a drop-down list. Once there is a station catalog adding things like finding stations with Black Markets etc also become possible.

Thanks. The Money Graph works by adding an entry on the 'Diary Entry' tab, with an 'Entry Type' of 'Money'. Just enter a value (digits only), and it will automatically be added to the graph. I'll probably change it so you enter the money value on the Graph tab itself.

AWESOME!
I was adding my balance in the Diary area but did not chach that Money Entry type :) Ya adding it to the Graph area makes sense to me.

Thanks!

New v0.7.1.0, added support for Commander name for the Heatmap, and added ability to add your current worth on the Money tab.

This is exactly what I was going to ask for, thanks Slugsie! :D

I am not sure if this is doable or even useful to others but it would be a useful if we could select the system name in your application and link to system name on the Heat map site, then we could see if we were the first visitor to the system (obviously based on the heat map data). If not, no worries as we can copy and paste to do the same thing. Or maybe pull that data in when we double click on the name entry?
